Cabins are comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. Lots to keep the kids entertained, with water toys on the lagoon and a short walk to the beach. We were also treated to live music, which was enjoyable. The ferry trips were enjoyed by both kids and adults. The restaurant has lovely meals to choose from and hotel quality breakfasts....

Really loved the abundance of trees and the shade in the campsite. There is a barge that does the short run down the lagoon to the beach during the day. The restaurant is a great spot to have a bite, watch rugby, or just chill out on the couches. There was excellent live music when we visited too. A perfect...

The lodge is situated next to a lagoon, about 500m from the sea. There is a boat that takes you to the beach from the lodge three times a day. You can launch your boat, or jet ski from the jetty. The chalet is big, three bedroom with two bath room, overlooking the lagoon. Own braai area on veranda. Best...

Terrible , terrible service, rude, look at this ciabatta with cheese Tomato and lettuce, absolutely disgusting. Everything run down, no proper roads, pathways, no view of the lagoon, this place has so much potential but doesn't seem like anyone cares. Don't waste your time

The restaurant has a very special African atmosphere. I am a frequent visitor there taking children of our children's home out for an outing. They can play in a safe playground, use the swimming pool and take a walk to the beautiful lagoon within the complex. Even a "boatride" on their raft is possible. The restaurant is very hospitable and...

We stayed here for the start of our group trip to South Africa. Where it was very basic it was a stunning location and great for going down to the beach and lagoon. The dinner from the restaurant was great and the provided breakfast was good with plenty of food. We felt very welcome and had all our need accommodated

Just spent the weekend at the mosquito infested lodge! Sandy campsites surrounded by overgrown trees and bush. Ablutions old. Swimming pool green, kids pool empty. 2 dilapidated swings for kids...The saving grace for our weekend was the fact we could ski/tube on the lagoon. The lagoon area could be made so lovely, however its a long walk to the toilets...

Booked for weekend but left the next morning. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom self catering units with a beautiful view of the lagoon. One of the first things we spotted was a large rat running across the verandah. The pots were packed in the same cupboard as the rubbish bin and when I opened it, large cockroaches...

I did not stay at the lodge...but my experience today made me want to read reviews.... And yes I agree with so many. What a weird and UNWELCOMING place. Don't spoil your holiday... Go somewhere else. I spent the day I'm zinkwaz and wanted to go to the restaurant. So I signed in and drove to the restaurant. It was...

“We did not stay in the Lagoon Chalets, but they are right on the Lagoon. You basically walk out of your Chalet onto the grassy lawn next to the Lagoon where there is a launching facility for boats only. Looks quite nice.”
