My wife and I were bought a voucher for afternoon tea at The Rockcliffe Hotel as a wedding present,so as it was our 1st anniversary we thought we would save it for a special occasion,I must say that the place is lovely, the staff pleasant and helpful, but the afternoon tea was disappointing,at a cost of £25per person,I personally don't think it's...

We had a twilight spa which was lovely. The facilities are second to none, with lots of clean towels etc. The spa garden is an added extra that is really worth the extra money, although the butler service that they advertise consists of you getting out of the very warm pool outside and searching the whole spa to find him...

Had a wonderful weekend last weekend at Rockliffe Hall. Fantastic venue, beautiful rooms, we felt really spoilt during our stay. The staff were great and could not do enough for us. We ate in the clubhouse (reservation at 8pm, stayed until midnight that's how good it was!) and the food was superb. The Spa was also the best I've experienced....

My friend and I had a nice day at the spa. Lunch was tasty although the menu hadn't changed since I was there 18 months ago. We had a lovely treatment and there is a nice relaxation room you have access to afterwards. It was here we noticed that the towels were just folded up and put back on the...

Excellent front of house, location, rooms and hotel services - sadly restaurant services not as well managed and customer services in restaurants lacking organisation leading to a less than good experience.

The experience was wonderful. Afternoon Tea was superb with top quality food that was beautifully presented. The staff were very courteous and very helpful with a special mention for Alice and Rob. The morning room is a delightful place to enjoy afternoon tea with top quality furnishings and expansive views of the gardens and golf course. If you are travelling...

Great spa day, very relaxing. The staff were helpful, lovely and polite. Lunch was delicious with plenty of choice. Quiet on a Monday which was just perfect in the spa, plenty of beds to relax on. Cosy robe and slippers provided.

This place did everything right. They are one of few special occasion hotels that I've booked for my husband's birthday who made the effort to wish him a happy birthday...right through to the restaurant. V impressive. Lovely spa; plenty of r n r options, if a rather chilly pool. Great dinner in the Brasserie and comfy bed. It's styling is...

This was a treat for my mum's birthday and my daughter and I went along. We weren't disappointed with anything. The brunch on arrival was excellent especially the pastries. They were divine. The service was excellent and the facilties were amazing. The hot stone beds were heaven, the outdoor hot tub was such a treat. Sitting there while it was...

After a long walk, we had lunch in the Cocktail Bar, looked after by Lee. He found us an excellent glass of wine, and the kitchen produced a sublime quiche and amazing beetroot ravioli: we were very happy to be there, and really enjoyed ourselves!
