Tucked away on the Wirral and no sight or sound of Ellesmere Port this was a great getaway for our anniversary. Old black and white Cheshire Manor, ideally situated for exploring the Wirral, near Neston and Parkgate as well. Friendly staff and excellent food as part of a Travel Zoo deal....never made to feel that we were second class citizens...

I went on a trining course here on 21 & 22 January and 5 March and I have to say they really pulled out all the stops. The staff were friendly and attentive even on the last day when they also had a wedding on. The food was excellent served with a smile and on time even with the wedding...

This is a really nice impressive hotel, great service throughout (from check-in to check-out, in the restaurant, and from reception). Very nice rooms and decor in general, and an excellent restaurant too (not cheap but reasonable value and great quality).

We stayed here for 2 nights. Upon arrival we was very impressed with the hotel and our room. Our room was very nice, abit on the small side however it did us well as we don't spend much time in our room. The bathroom was again on the small side- however expected with the size of the room. One of...

Stayed for Valentine's last month. Everything went well, nothing to report really. The welcome area is lovely and breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Every member of staff we met was well-mannered and kind. All the guests around us seemed to be enjoying themselves too. A pricey but really nice experience.

Just had an overnight stay with dinner, b & b. The food was lovely as were all the staff. The hotel has lovely views over the grounds and the rooms are really nice. Downstairs the lounge and the rest of the rooms are so of the Edwardian period. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We booked the "Love Winter" package direct from the hotel's website for an overnight stay in an executive room. When we arrived, we were given the Oak Room which was such a pleasant surprise because the room was magnificent! It made our Valentine's getaway that much more magical. A huge selection of tea and coffee was available in the room...

Had a lovely over night stay here, a Christmas gift from our family. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and all the staff were really friendly, from the reception staff to the bar staff. The food in the hotel was excellent as was the breakfast and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area
