Excellent room, food and service. The room was a good size. Bed was comfortable and the wet room fine. Services were more than expected: a range of teas and coffees plus a fruit bowl! Breakfast (both smoked salmon and full English) was as good as it gets. The Lord Raglan PH is a minute's drive and they serve good ales... More

We stayed at Weald Cottage as we had a wedding to go to in a nearby village. I cannot recommend it more. Suzanne was an absolute delight and made us feel like VIP's! Breakfast made to order. The bedroom clean, cosy and welcoming. If we come to Staplehurst again we will not stay anywhere else. A real find!

Suzanne and Val quite simply are superb hosts and Weald Cottage is a little gem set in Kent. From the wonderfully comfy rooms to the fabulous breakfast (eggs to die for) this wee B&B scores 5 out of 5 on all counts. Val even treated us to his special Jamaican coffee which was super. Thanks guys you rock!!!!

The weather forecast looked great so booking this B&B was a last minute treat. We arrived in the afternoon & was shown to our room which was bathed in sunlight & overlooked the garden & fields. It was a beautiful sunny warm day, so we opened the window and could hear the chickens clucking which are free range outside our... More

Going for the "wet room" is indeed the best advice for staying at Weald Cottage. It is the only room with toilet and shower for yourself instead of sharing these with other guests (refererend to as 'en suite facilities' with typical Brittish feeling for understatement) Weald Cottage is a very fine B&B, comfortable and friendly owners. They serve Greta breakfast... More

Great breakfasts with eggs fresh from the hens running around the garden. Comfortable room overlooking the gardens. Nice toiletries and fresh cookies and fruit bowl in the room every day. Host very friendly and helpful. Very slight niggle in the wet room with a powerful shower the lighting level is difficult to shave by.

Fresh eggs from the chickens outside, a wonderful warm and friendly atmosphere makes this the best place to stay-a short walk to the train if you need to nip to London and a great hub to tour the sites of Kent-Keep up the good work!

Suzanne is a wonderful host. It was our wedding anniversary and she had very kindly gone to the trouble of getting us a card and some flowers which were waiting for us in the room. The cottage is very homely and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was wonderful. We were made to feel very welcome by a lovely genuine lady... More

Weald Cottage is beautifully decorated, lovely and warm and the owners Val and Suzanne make you feel right at home. We stayed in the ground floor front bedroom, which was really comfy and even had a little sofa in it! Yes, you could hear a bit of road noise in the early afternoon after we got back from our walk... Only stayed the one night at this lovely cosy B & B. Room was clean, tidy and everything you needed (within reason) supplied. Breakfast was truly superb, one of the best I've had ever. Highly recommend.
