From the moment we were picked up from the airport, throughout our stay, and right up until we were taken back to the airport, the staff were amazing - very friendly, courteous, helpful and always smiling. Not those 'fake' smiles that make your face ache either, they were genuinely happy to help. Actually, even before we arrived, the booking couldn't...

Friendly staff, good value, good food, plenty of wine, cosy bar/dining room, ski hire on site. Clean well prepared room for 4. Two hundred meter walk on the flat to edge of the main piste, from where you can ski down to main lift. At the end of the day it is easy to ski to the same point and...

We have just returned from a wonderful ski holiday in la Tania which was made extra special due to the fantastic staff working with Family Friendly Skiing. We were picked up at Geneva by Davey, who remained calm and professional despite a difficult transfer. By the time we were making our way up the mountains we were all singing along...

A bold (and as subsequently turns out somewhat optimistic) sign outside the venue proclaims “A selection of real ales, good food and fine wines” . This ticked a number of boxes for our group and we strode confidently in, as we (hopefully not sounding like the Real Ale T#@ts from Viz) mused over the challenges of keeping cask ale in...

Our second stay here. Very good value for money and very close to piste, near bottom of blue run( Folyeres). Food was fantastic and wine was included. Ski hire within hotel and lift passes can be provided for you making it effortless. Transfers from/to airport can also be arranged. Very friendly staff. I would like to pass on thanks to...

This was the 4th time we have been to La Tania on a ski break but the first time we had stayed at the Telemark. We had previously stayed in Family Friendly chalets which had all been excellent. Julie and Tony also manage the Telemark. The whole trip was perfectly organised from the transfers to the ski hire and provision...

We stayed here for our annual ski trip. The group consisted of 5 guys. From the outset Julie was really helpful to deal with and gave us 3 rooms for space. We got a good price for transfers from Geneva from Julie. The hotel is basic but good. The rooms are on the small side and the bathrooms really small....

We've just had another long weekend staying in the Telemark. Another great visit. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. The food was amazing ( I know changes have been made since my last visit)! The skiing was great. Plenty of snow and well groomed pistes. The town is full of fun bars and has everything you need. Well...

First time skiing for a group of 3 and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel for the trip. We were picked up directly from the airport by Davey who was very joyful and we had no waiting around in the airport. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome by Liam who gave...

Returned to the Telemark after last years success. 10 of us arriving on 4 different days from 2 different modes of transport . Some arriving on a Thursday, some on Saturday and the rest on Monday. Complicated? Not for the Telemark. All taken in their stride. Rooms are basic but fine. The shower room is out of a contortionists conference...
