We stayed for one night, the room was basic, outdated but very clean.
The evening staff were very friendly and helpfull.
The morning staff was less experienced but managed to provide us with water which is not available on the buffet.

The changes that were made to the building have been taken away the charm of this once beautiful hotel. Of course this is a long time ago; yet that is plenty of time to make the service knowledgable, engaging, friendly, effective and efficient.
We have been there with a lot of friends, superb dinner and warm and friendly people in the bar and restaurant.
The special "Fries"diner was superb, astonishing different in style and food as you normally find in other restaurants.
