Detailed Reviews
Beds and pillows were very comfy. Water pressure in tub was not the best, but the water got hot. Amazing view of the water and bridge. Per friendly rooms. WiFi and cable tv were perfect. The area was quiet for the most part. Second floor balcony was a bit windy, but it’s winter time.

The location was great and I really enjoyed the property from the beach seating to the pool and the unique room.
Not for everyone, but a good solid place to stay. Clean and quiet.
The staff were excellent and we enjoyed ourselves.

Went for husband's 80th birthday. Bill and staff could not be more helpful. Nothing fancy but what we wanted. Rented apartment, 2 bedroom and oceanfront room . Good for fishing kayaking. Rooms are very simple. Clean and comfortable. Just fe.t like an old fashion home.

Our car rental broke down right in front of this Inn at 11am. We got stranded by 2 different tow companies and it is now 8:30pm. We spent the entire day lazing at their small but very clean heated pool and catching sun on their beautiful loungers and hammocks. Several people dropped in for the jet ski’s. Emery and his wife were just wonderful, he offered to drive us to a restaurant for some food as their cafe is no longer open. They checked on us every couple of hours. Barry/Billy offered us use of the kayaks and paddle boards and sat and chatted with us. When dinner time came and went, Emery asked us to join them for homemade burgers from the grill beside the tiki bar. We are now checked in to our cute and spacious room that is clean clean clean. It is dry in our room, no dampness at all. This place offers a perfect cottage like atmosphere. We have a table and 2 chairs, 2 beds, open closet, bathroom and kitchen sink, mini fridge, coffee pot and microwave. Tv, lamps and a dresser. Our back patio door overlooks the bay and water as far as the eye can see. We could not have asked for more. Ask for room #4 and you will not be disappointed!!!!

First off, we arrived on time but our room wasn't ready yet. From the moment that we got there it was very clear the owner knows how angles work on pictures. The "giant pool" was nothing more than a feet bath, "the beach" was literally a pile of rocks. Don't even get me started on the motel's restroom located at the back. It looked like it had never even seen a cleaning wipe and it smelled like someone died in there. When we finally were allowed to check-in our room it looked like they were trying to mask a smell with a candle and the airco. The walls of our room were paper thin which resulted in a rough night due to all of the traffic and noisy neighbours/other guests. When a truck would drive by it litteraly sounded like it was next to your ear. The Motel is located next to the bridge of the island, so when a truck or a heavy car would drive by the walls and our beds would shake.
When you arrive they make u pay 50% and u can't get a refund. They even tried to charge us extra for my 2 siblings, and they tried to pull the same stunt on another guest. Please drive 10 minutes further for an affordable and nice resort!

We booked the lodge via Booking, but upon entering the staff immediately started with saying that the given rates were wrong, a welcome was never uttered.
We did not feel welcome and in consent we cancelled the booking.
I haven’t come across such unwelcome behaviour since times. Fortunately there are much nicer venues in the area.

It was great! A good way to experience a natural island life, good people and I loved seeing the beautiful world around!
Good fishing and I liked how I could buy bait from the hotel, I loved the jetski rentals and the tour guide that helped us around to know the best spots, it really is a great place for a fun experience

Owners were very accommodating and the room was clean. This is an old building so do not expect this to be a 5 star resort. However, this was very clean and a comfortable stay with an amazing view. Best bang for your buck and a great center point between everything. They also rent kayaks and jet skis

Well I booked my room and then was looking at the reviews. I was like man did I just make a mistake? But i decided to go with my gut and keep it. I’d like to say the staff there is amazing! We ran our boat down from pompano and got caught up in a storm they stayed in contact with us and made sure we were taken care of even after they were closed. Even asked if we needed food or anything from town. So back to the reviews. After reading them and staying there I can say this. It is a great keys spot ! The ORIGINAL Keys! Not the let’s ruin the keys by building big giant resorts and taking the simplistic lifestyle away keys. We had a blast the place is a time capsule the staff bends over backwards for you. Thanks guys we will be back 🤙🏻

Tammy the manager was great with that Midwestern hospitality. Our room was clean and comfortable with a dock right outside our back door. If your into fishing you can fish right off the dock and they have several fish cleaning stations and a gas grill to cook your catch. You can rent jet ski's from Bill right there on the property. If your into a laid back atmosphere of an old style fishing village this is the place. We spotted sevaral manatee off of our dock.
