CHATEAU L'HOSPITAL: See Reviews and Traveller Photos (Saint-Trojan, France)

Sur les conseils d'une amie, nous nous sommes rendus au Château l'Hospital à Saint Trojan. Nous avons choisi du vin rouge et du blanc. De retour à la maison, malgré le transport leur vin était une pure merveille. Merci pour cette trouvaille.

Découverte extra

Nous avons passé quelques jours chez Christine et Bruno Duhamel qui exploite cette petite propriété vinicole.
Le cadre et la rénovation sont fabuleux, l’accueil est top et la cuisine faite par Chrisine est un pur plaisir.

Je vous conseille de leur demander une dégustation verticale de leurs vins, cela a été une expérience que nous n’oublierons pas !

Du bonheur chez Christine et Bruno

Christine et Bruno ont fait de cette ancienne demeure en pierres au milieu des vignes une magnifique maison familiale. Les 2 chambres d'hôtes sont très belles, lumineuses, spacieuses et décorées avec élégance.
L’intérieur de la maison est décoré de meubles de famille très hétéroclites qui donne un résultat chaleureux et agréable.
Le dîner avec vue sur les coteaux, le petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse, la visite de la cave...
Et le vin (blanc pour moi), délicieux!
Coup de cœur pour une escapade bucolique et charmante!

Journée porte ouverte chateaux des Graves

Arrivés en fin d aprés midi au Chateau de L Hospital, aprés avoir visité 5 autres établissements...Nous avons été trés étonnés de ne pouvoir bénéficier d aucune dégustation...L accueuil trés froid...A priori, les visiteurs sont trop nombreux et le chateau ne peut se permettre de faire déguster gracieusement ses précieuses bouteilles...A la question:"pourquoi donc ouvrir vos portes lors d une journée porte ouverte?" Il m a été ŕepondu: "Excusez moi je vais m occuper de clients"
Affligeant de présomption et de savoir non vivre!

A VERY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

We stayed four nights with Christine & Bruno at the beginning of September at their delightful vineyard north of Bordeaux. Though a busy time of year with the start of the harvest nothing was too much trouble. We saw the picking of the grapes, wine tastings each evening, & delicious food cooked by Christine. The bedroom was large & spotless.
It was one of the best chambres- d'Hote's that we have stayed in, we had a great experience, & would definitely go back when in the area.
