We stayed here a couple of times while touring Oman by public transport. It is the best location in Muscat, just a minute's walk from the Muttrah Souk, and right by the Fish Roundabout, where you can get minibuses to the Bus Station and other parts of the city. If you are lucky and book in advance, you can get...

WE have been to stay more than 7 times now and it never fails to please, this hotel is simple, comfortable, clean, the staff wonderful and the position is excellent. Could not be a better place, most of the guests are travellers not looking for a package deal. Will always be one of our favourite places, well done team Naseem.

Best thing about this hotel was the view, directly onto the cornice at Muttrah. I found the staff helpful when I had to organise a taxi to get back to the airport and they gave me an early wake up call. The room had TV, fridge and decent sized bathroom with bath. It felt a bit stuffy and I had...

I stayed three nights at this hotel at 16.00 OMR per night the rates were reasonable, the room was fine cleaned daily with an overhead fan, Bath, sitting desk & mirror. The staff was quite resourseful when asked questions. A small hotel located at the end of Muttrah Corniche. One of the very few hotels located in the Muttrah Area...

Our campsite on the beach was raided and robbed so we had to find a cheap place to stay for the night. Lonely Planet guidebook said this place was dated and tired but for the money it was OK. It was not ok. After telling us the price for the room they suddenly changed the price when they found that...

Great Hotel. The staff is very friendly, and contact by mail is good and makes you feel comfortable. The rooms are good, big bathrooms. The location is excellent, it is 5 minutes walking from the souqs, 5 minutes walking from the fishmarket (don't miss this one!), and also it is at the corniche with seaviews at some rooms. Could not...

Payment (cash only) at check-in means that, after you have seen the room, it is already too late to run away. Ants are raoming freely: the carpets have been cleaned last time when Sultan Qaboos was not yet in office; just one towel for two people (for n days, since the rooms are never made up during your stay). The...

It's a pity: this hotel could be very nice. The location in Muttrah is perfect and the building itself is not without charme. Unfortunately the management seems to be a miserable failure. It is dirty and the staff is not at all friendly and/or professional. The breakfast is 'a bad joke' and WiFi never heard of.

Okay, so it isn't super fancy but in Muttrah, what can you expect. The room is super clean and the bed was comfortable. The really should have a shower curtain and a television that works but it is fine. The Omani clerk who checked us in was sweet and awesome!!

Four things I look for in a hotel while on my student budget: affordability, safety, cleanliness, and customer service. The Naseem failed miserably on all these levels except for affordability. I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1 - The front desk manager took our US passports and refused to make photocopies of it. By US law,...
