We stayed here for one night. We loved the accommodation, the view was breathtaking, sunrise from the deck was one of the highlights. If you love taking photographs this is definitely the place. The only problem was the food. Dinner was terrible and so was breakfast, major improvements are needed in this regard or rather offer self catering. The bad... More

We stayed in the bush cottage for two nights. Staff makes it feel homely and are very welcoming. Food was stellar. Wildlife safaris are one of a kind. Tents looked more like cottages but really comfortable. Sauna was clean. Highly recommended for quiet, relaxing adventure.

I had a great stay at Koffylaagte. The lodge was beautiful, my room was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent and the ranger, Jonathan, had a deep understanding of the local flora and fauna. Additionally, the bird watching was fantastic and of course the monkeys, rhinos, giraffes, impala, nyala, etc were also get to see wandering around the beautiful,... More

We stayed 2 nights, unfortunately we didn't have much time but we had a great mini safari in the lodge we enjoyed ourselves even more than a Addo national park. The location and the altitude of the hotel are perfect. I wish I would go the next year again. It was a nice feeling being like grandma's firm.

Awesome accommodation, lovely game meat, bring sunscreen! the horseback safari is a must. Bear in mind that they are 2 hours from the closest city and therefore you need to inform them of any dietary requirements. the food was great though.

Arrived early evening to a hearty dinner and wine. We opted to stay in luxury family tent. The view in morning was amazing with heard of animals on the ridge across from tent. We had a private game drive with Jonathan, he is very knowledgeable on the animal behavior and local flora and fauna, also able to keep attention of... More

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The setting - lovely, peaceful, tranquil... Normally this will be the exact reaction of the normal leisure guest. But, as an individual with over 17 years in Hotels and lodges, all is not as it would seem... Although it is a lovely setting, with a lot of effort and work, it truly can be a... More
