Mr Partha,Tara and the rest of the team at Fariyas made my family and my weekend stay at their Lonavala property absolutely enjoyable and comfortable. They went out of the way with our requests and that's what counts.every hotel has staff who are smiling and courteous but when you request something they can't help citing their rules but not at Fariyas.I had some genuine requests and the team at Fariyas were very helpful and supportive. Would highly recommend . Will surely visit again.

After being at home for 8 months due to pandemic, we planned to visit Lonavala. We booked our stay at Fariyas from 15-17 Nov' 2020 directly from their hotel website and paid Rs 39000 with taxes for two rooms, two nights stay including breakfast and dinner for 5 adults.
We were apprehensive about our safety and hygiene but after reaching there we were assured of their good cleanliness standards and were relieved. The rooms were decent sized, decorated tastefully with spacious balconies. We had not got the rooms overlooking the waterpark, the view from there is better overlooking the lovely valley.
Bathrooms have all the necessities with bathtub and we got slippers and iron also on request. The staff there is very courteous and hard working and promptly get the things done.
The meals are all huge buffets with lots of options, certainly a value for money. The food was delicious and was carefully served by the servers. I liked the seating option on the outside overlooking the beautiful hills.
We could not enjoy the facilities at the resort as water park, gym etc were closed. However indoor games were open. But we enjoyed the Diwali mela and DJ on the 15th evening where we won few prizes too.
On 16th we went for a drive in the hills of Lonavala and were looking for a place to lunch when we stumbled upon a sign board 'Jungle Dhaba' showing 650 m distance downhill from there. Two of us got out from our car to walk down there just for fun.
Just before reaching there we discovered several ATVs parked there. On enquiry we got to know that they give the vehicles to ride on payment. We decided to do so after lunch. We had yummy vegetarian lunch at the dhaba, aesthetically done. I especially liked their use of embellished scrap bottles to decorate the place.
The dhaba had awesome setting in the valley surrounded by greenery, hills with river flowing adjacent to it; the place where one would like to settle after retirement:). We had nice vegetarian meal there and then we headed for the ATV rides.
The instructor there gave us instructions on how to ride and we had our test rounds and voila we were all ready. We had the rides of our life:). The kids took two rounds each. We paid ₹300 for each round.
Next day we headed for morning walk nearby and also discovered many nooks and corners of the resort for taking memorable pics. Our stay was memorable and we left the place not before deciding to visit there once more atleast when all the amenities are open.

WE visited this place last month during this current pandemic . We were a bit skeptic about safety considering current situation. However after reaching there we found all the safety measures are being maintained very meticulously at the hotel starting from the entrance. Sanitisers, social distancing etc are being followed to give comfort level to the guests. However not many people are ready to venture yet and hence the crowd was not much. Mr Partha Ray , the manager is continuously roaming around the reception and lobby area and interacting always with the guests to oversee the minute details of guest comfort. The rooms are properly sanitized, even the cutlery are sanitized and served in a plastic pouch. In room dining menu have been curtailed due to low occupancy, but food quality is good. The buffet breakfast spread has been reduced to maintain protocol. The water park and the swimming pool,are currently non operational. Overall it was a very comfortable stay after a long lock down at home.

As the Covid Unlock had been initiated it was very uncomfortable to plan an outing or a break. A chat with with Fariyas Executive did reduce our apprehensions a lot and we reached the resort without a major issue.
It was very gratifying to note that the Resort was fully prepared to handle the Guests with our individual whims and fancies catered to. A last minute request gor an upper floor was entertained with a smile.
The contact-less checkin was a breeze and we were ushered to our room which was well appointed and sanitized. The view from the Balcony was soothing.
The Dinner and Breakfast Menu on both days of our stay was different, varied and well managed. They had evolved a procedure where we did have our choice of a dish with minimal contact.
The entire staff went out of their way to make Guests feel comfortable and reduced the stress.
Mr Partha Ray was generally found to be Omnipresent and was involved in the welfare of each Guest.
Would definitely like to visit again when all restrictions on hospitality are removed

I was here for a corporate training for 1 week and had a great experience. The coffee shop/ restaurant staff is very very we trained, their service is prompt and always with a smile. Especially Srikant who was always hovering around to keep me well fed.
The housekeeping staff too cleans the room daily without us having to remind. When you come back after a long day of training, the room is well done and water and toiletries replinished.
We had the opportunity to meet with Anil from their staff who always kept checking for our comfort, almost felt like home when he offered me cold coffee upon special requests.
The water park was also a fun addition to a lazy day at the pool.

The hotel service was excellent and completely adapted to covid conditions. During entry itself v and every other guest was checked and our luggage was sanitized completely. Everyone was wearing face shields and place was absolutely hygienic. During lunch and dinner tables were far apart so social distancing was maintained. As usual taste of food and mountain view of this hotel is beautiful. But it was complete relaxation to stay at this hotel. Very safe and very well maintained.

A lot of friends told us to try the newer resorts in Lonavala, but we're glad that we chose Fariyas! It's difficult to follow COVID-19 related safety precautions with peak season rush, but the management has done a commendable job. We stayed for three nights and faced no hygiene issues. Even apart from safety precautions, service was impeccable.
Special mention for the food... buffets generally choose quantity over quality, but the one here ticked both boxes. It's worth it to opt for breakfast + dinner in your package.
It's quite a huge property with a wide variety of rooms. The best views are offered by the ones on the fourth floor, facing the pool/garden. You get an uninterrupted view of the hills right ahead and can spend some relaxed time in the balcony with a book, watching the trains go by in the distance (ours was room 437). The least privacy (and I assume lowest cost) is offered by the rooms on the first floor, facing Frichley Hill Road. The road's at a elevation and is level with these rooms, which means passers-by get a full view inside if the curtains aren't drawn.
Considering the size of the resort, there's plenty of space for a morning walk, and with the necessary safety, you can enjoy some indoor and outdoor games too. There's also a kids' activity area. The neighbourhood is a lovely one and you can make room for that lovely buffet by walking around the quiet lanes dotted with beautiful bungalows.
I can imagine that the experience will be an even better one post COVID, when the outdoor waterpark and indoor pool open up.
If there is indeed a fault to identify, it's that the décor is beginning to look dated and gives a very 90s chic look in parts. Once feasible, a renovation should be taken up.

Recently i had a conference at the Fariyas Resorts Lonavala, Initially i ahd a few doubts about the safety measures due to this Covid situation but when i visted them my doubts were cleared. The check in process was hassle free. They have sanitizers at multiple locations and also have masks available if needed. The Resort is following all the rules & regulations so as to give up to the mark service to the customer. The conference arrangement was done without any hassle or delay . The food was remarkable thanks to the Chef Lokesh & his team Special thanks to the hospitality team - Mr Avijit, Mr Gupta, Mr Raju, Mr. Prabhakar, Mr. Lasa. Would Love to visit again. We find Fariyas more like a one stop shop for a stress free getaway . Heaven for children . Indoor temperature controlled pool , mesmerising view from the valley view rooms , very warm staff , especially the guest relation team Priyanka , Puja and Ram . Our heart felt gratitude to such top class customer service that comes from such people with no conditions. Full marks to this team. room service , house keeping staff too is very service oriented, they just care ! We took the meals package for 6 nights in august . We enjoyed every bit of it . Since the property is more that 50 years old , the work area would be to spruce up the toilette area in the rooms and in common areas . We would definitely recommend you’ll to visit this place especially during Monsoon , it’s A gift of God to all of us . So keeping the covid situation in mind we were skeptical of any place for a much needed vacation. We decided on Fariyas knowing from past experience that they were a classy competent resort. Fingers were crossed as soon as we reached as we had a kid with us and we hoped it was safe to stay here. From the minute my car was taken by the valet and the way our luggage was sanitized the minute it was offloaded calmed all the nerves down. Fabulous Fariyas i would call the resort. Smooth check in. All covid protocols followed and more. The staff were very courteous approachable and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the view is fantastic. Another highlight for me was the buffet had just started after the lockdown and i expected it to be low key but to our pleasant surprise it was fantastic. Fariyas is known for its quality food and that's what was served to us. For the first time ever in my lonavala trip i haven't left the hotel for my entire stay as i was just too happy safe and secure here. I have to mention here that at the restaurant Biswajit Manna was just amazing. Very well spoken and knowledgeable he is great asset for the resort. Im a vegetarian and cant eat spicy food and there was a child with us as well. He made sure we got the best of the food and service and played major part in making our stay delightful. I also need to mention the deputy GM Partha Ray. From check in till check out day he was always there making sure everything is in order and i am really thankful to each and every one who served us.
