The location of the hotel is very good being close to the city center. Public parking is very close to what is an advantage, the hotel parking is hardly accessible (even the best driver is tested here). The rooms are small, outdated, the cleanliness leaves it desirable although it is clean but not paying attention to details. Every morning we move our luggage through the room. The staff at the reception are very kind. Breakfast was good, high quality sausages and cheeses, but we do not had too many choices. I do not think we'll come back.

Good, comfortable, clean hotel, which is centrally located and close to all shops and restaurants. Breakfast is quite varied too. We only stayed for 1 night, though would definitely consider staying there again.Staff and kind and helpful.

Very nice people, and a pleasant hotel. There was adequate hot water and water pressure, good towels, and a plug at the head of the bed. The room was clean, there were crisp white sheets and a white bedspread (I like being able to see if there are stains, etc). Breakfast was ok, with prosciutto, cheese, croissants. The coffee was good, and you could order a cappuccino. Wifi was good. It is an easy walk to the shopping and historical districts. The room was quiet, although there was some noise from people under my window even when I returned from the concert around 0200. (yes, even in the winter, I sleep with the window open) I was there for a concert, and it had been raining heavily the day of the concert. When I awoke in the morning, I checked outside to see if it was still raining. It was snowing...and there was thunder and lightening. It was such a surprise, and continued all morning. Although the hotel was within easy walking distance of the train station, they kindly offered to take us without charge.…

Not a 4 stars hotel. May be 2. The bar was a joke, but the rooms where clean and we had clean towels every day. Helpfull staff. The breakfast was fresh, but it could have been larger and With eggs and bacon. Only Cold boiled eggs.

Spent an overnight stay after a trip from Malta to Genoa Italy. Very comfortable, relaxing and friendly. Room quiet and luxurious with lovely bathroom, nicely furnished. Best though was the breakfast definitely four star fresh bread, croissants, cakes, fruit, cereals and good coffee. Altogether good value and discovered a great pizzeria nearby recommended by hotel and pleasant pedestrians shopping area next day.

The hotel is quite OK if you are without a car. If you have a car you are in real troupe. The parking is underground. The entrance is steep and incurved with a parallel methal lines which make the car gliss. At times the car balanced on two wheels. Even an experienced driver like my husband got scared and thought to call the car assistance for a help. Fortunately the receptionist helped us get the car out.

I stayed 3 nights in Hotel Lux, Alessandria. The rooms - including the bathroom - were nice and clean, however the the common areas (especially the carpet!) are crying for refurbishment. The staff was very heplful but the breakfast was disappointing: no fruits, vegetables and natural fruit juices at all. The coffee was just filter coffee, not the Italian one as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Parking in the garage was not available, we had to use the nearby parking lot which was subject to a fee.
