Cannot fault anything with The Pier House hotel. Location, room, food, staff - all excellent. We stayed in the family quadruple room and it was spotlessly clean and had tea/coffee making facilities. nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
First of all I would like to give a big applaused for all the staff in PIER HOTEL they were superb and it makes your holiday really well. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is superb The place is amazing view And you can do lots of things in front of that hotel alone like swimming pic eat in/out pub etc If you are travelling by bus you can get a 1 week travel pass for £20.00 unlimited and you can take any bus . We managed to visit most of Cornwall in our 5 days there . Newquay ,land end,st Ives ,Truro, Penzance ,looe, It was amazing over all Worth travel . Big shout out anyway to Courtney,Allison and Isabelle from Pier house hotel .
The food was really good, backed up by great service from the staff, all in a wonderful setting. I stopped for one night while passing through and it was really good value for money and convenient. Booking was easy over the phone, with the only slight disadvantage being no parking at the hotel, although there was about 200 m from it.
Wonderful location with outstanding views of the harbour and sea.Great access to the beaches and all the harbour side facilities. Reception - Polite, friendly and very helpful (both the day and night team.) Fabulous breakfast- great selection and a very professional breakfast team. Bar - serves a great selection of local ales with very knowledgable bar team to help recommend which ones to try. Rooms very clean with tea making facilities.Comfortable bed decent linen.Bathroom very clean. The cleaning team do an outstanding job in such an old building. Rooms - decor is dated and reflects the age of the property. However in such a stunning location why would you want to be stuck inside a room ! Good seating outside ( great for summer ) and the bar and reception have a cosy seating area if required. All in all a wonderful and pleasant experience professional, polite in house team. …
Nice hotel in a lovely place. Old romantic harbour at the sea, often used in films or series. Room and facilities were good. Food and service very good. Great hotel to enjoy good food, nature, beach, and lovely view.
Really lovely accommodation and great staff. We could have fresh jugs of milk to make drinks in our room, nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast and beautiful views across harbour, tall ships and the sea. Hot shower, comfy bed and parking.
As the title says, this is the 3rd time we have stayed at The Pier House....once again we have had a fabulous stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped (we do always chose a sea/Harbour facing room). We ate each night in the restaurant, and if you are staying I would recommend booking a table in the restaurant as during the summer months it can get very busy. Breakfast cooked to order and both this and the evening meals were very good. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. We do love this place and will no doubt return again.
amazing hotel in a perfect location, our 3 time visiting and will be back. everyone so helpful and accommodating food perfect rooms clean and tidy. jsut a beautiful little hotel in a beautiful location.
A lovely and stress free stay which coincided with the start of the Charlestown Regatta week. Room was modern and extremely comfortable. Food excellent and fairly priced. Staff were exceptional. Definitely planning another stay in the near future.
Regularly eat at the restaurant when visiting family but recently stayed overnight for the first time. Clean, comfortable and quiet room, really helpful staff and cannot fault the food. Great choice at breakfast and delicious lunch and evening meal for a very reasonable price.
