This is a great place for people who are looking to get away from the crowds of Florence. You can drive from here easily to Florence, but you can also just wander the Tuscan countryside. We were there when the wild blackberries were ripe and I picked and ate as many as I could. Gabriella is a delightful hostess and...

We spent 7 nights at this b&b. Gabriella and Fernando were such a lovely couple. Nothing was too much trouble. The view from our room was magnificent and was central to every thing we wanted to do. Florence is no more than 30 Minutes and there were 2 great restaurants not far. These are Dino and the other was just...

Wife and I stayed for 7 nights in early July. The only downside was the heat wave which hit central Europe at the same time and there is no air con at Porcigliano, but we didn't expect there to be, especially at the price charged - excellent value. Porcigliano was very comfortable and quiet. Gabbriella and Ferdinando were charming and...

We stayed for 3 nights with Gabbriella at Porcigliano bed and breakfast, she is the kindest host. The location of the B&B is in beautiful surroundings, very relaxing and peaceful after a busy day in Florence. We travelled by train/bus throughout our trip, there is a bus stop within walking distance to Florence although Gabbriella kindly picked us up in...

My partner and I visited Tuscany for a week at the end of May beginning June 2015. Porcigliano was the ideal base for exploring the area. We twice went in to Florence on the train from nearby St Piero a Sieve, drove to Sienna down the fabulous S222, checked out Rimini on the Adriatic Coast and even took in MotoGP...

Gabriella was most welcoming our arrival and has continued to be so of the duration of our visit. She is most helpful with maps, advice, restaurants and local knowledge and ou double room with private facilities on her 200+ year old home is very comfortable. She and her husband Fernando tend the large garden around the property, which are open...

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. It's a wonderful place, located outside noisy Florence, but still only 20 minutes drive away from the city. The B&B is up on a hill, having a beautiful garden where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding landscapes which are breathtaking; it seems to be a fairytale: lovely surroundings, birds singing, relaxation...

but we will never know. We spent more than an hour driving around in search of this idyllic-sounding B&B. We managed to find Polcanto. We turned up the Via Tassaia, where there was a sign pointing up the hill to the Porcigniano B&B. That sign was all we ever found. We drove up the Via Tassaia and there was no...

we are very sorry that you did not find us, maybe you have not seen the third sign on the main road Tassaia that says to turn to the right, is a small private road that leads from Tassaia straight to our gate, 46b, 46a, 46c. It is a true paradise, and for this a little hidden. However, on our...

I don't think I can give enough praises to such a lovely place to stay. Once you are at the B&B it feels like a world away from hectic Florence. It was a little tough to find at first, but once you are used to the roads Florence and Fiesole are easily accessible. From Fiesole driving or taking the bus...

Recently visited this bed and breakfast with my wife and parents. Gabriella made our trip to Tuscany an outstanding experience. Her property is beautiful and has outstanding views of the countryside. Although located the country the bed and breakfast is located within a short distance of the must dos of Tuscany and is a nice break from the city life....
