We stayed for a week in August through Eurocamp with our 6 year old son and would definitely return. The campsite is well looked after with a great pool area and fantastic terrace restaurant / takeaway pizzeria. The onsite shop was well stocked, we didn't bother going further afield for food and drink. As it is a tiered site on...

We stayed for 10 nights (booked through Selectcamp) and loved it here- was great for the kids too. Yes as others have said it is steep and we had a mobile home near the top of the site so there was a bit of a walk but that had the bonus of us being in a nice secluded spot with...

Nice pools - very crowded in August. If you go I suggest you take a trip to village Bolgheri as a break and for some good food as the camp restaurant pretty average. Be careful where you cabin or tent as some of the accommodation is a long way from the pools etc.

Just got back from a week away with my son (aged 14). This is a little gem of a place to stay. From 2 weekly football tournaments for the adults and children (my son is 14 so this was a great couple of days for him). Close to the medieval town of Castagneto Carducci (a 20 min uphill walk from...

This is a nice relatively small campsite situated in the hills. We had a nice secluded tent with select camp which was nice as our first experience camping. A big downside was it was a steep trek to the accommodation made worse that we had to park at the bottom and walk up a hill. Having to drag all our...

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this campsite to friends. We stayed here with our 5 and 3 year old boys over May/June half term and had a wonderful time. The boys loved the swimming pool, spray park and play park. The shop and restaurant were both great, a well stocked shop and an extensive, delicious menu-we used both on many...

This was our first camping visit (Eurocamp) to Italy as a family. Flights and car hire were pretty straightforward, to/from Pisa. Fortunately, I had taken my own Sat Nav. Camp site was clean and smart, well stocked central store though opening hours could have been less..continental. We could only envy the order, comfort and mod cons of the (predominantly) Dutch...

We arrived at Le Pianacce on a very hot Sunday early evening and all we really wanted to do was get in the pool and have a drink. We were greeted by John and Jen from EuroCamp who were amazingly helpful and friendly but my heart sank a little when John said " oh you won't be able to swim as...

We stayed in the new Lodge XXL. It was an amazing location at the stop with spectacular views of the whole area through pine trees. Facilities are pretty good and cheap. 2 things to bear in mind. The neighbours are close so if they have young kids like ours then you will hear them. Secondly if your location is at...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There is a magical place in Tuscany where children can live a new adventure every day and where adults can experience the joy of being a child again. Just a few kilometres from Leghorn and the wild beaches of the Coast of the Etruscans, you will follow a tree-lined path that wends its way through grassy meadows and fields of fruit, tall cypresses with their brown foliage and shrubs of colourful oleanders. At sunset a light breeze makes the tips of the trees sway and all around the peace and quiet is only interrupted by the chirping of the cicada and birdsong. At the end of the path lies Camping Le Pianacce and behind it the town of Castagneto Carducci watches over the place like a silent giant. Having crossed over the threshold of this location, winter will seem like a dim and distant memory. ... more   less
