We stayed at this hotel for one night on a return journey from Sorrento on a Leger coach holiday. We found the hotel very good, our room was clean, the beds comfortable, the en-suite excellent. We had a good dinner in the evening and the breakfast adequate. The town itself was lovely and we enjoyed a ride about the town... More

Clean comfortable rooms, showers good. The food, service and waiters in the restaurant let this hotel down, food is poor and sometimes cold, there is a choice for main meal, meat, fish or vegetarian, 3 nights out of 6 for dessert we were given a basket of fruit e.g. orange apple or a pear, I don't call that a dessert.... Have just come back from our experience, very disappointed. Most of the staff were lovely.Waiter/barman was very rude, yes he did shout at someone on our table! The food was cold until I complained to our driver,it warmed up after that. Our room was freezing,we had the ask for blankets twice. Will definitely not be returning.

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights recently through a coach holiday. The man who appeared to be the head waiter was abrupt and rude, on our first evening we went to the dining room at the designated time but he gestured for us to go away simply saying 7.30! We went back at 7.30 and he tapped... More

Like many I went here on a Shearings package. Hotel is not brilliant & has some flaws, but for the cost of the holiday the value is good - if you expect more, then you need to pay for a more expensive holiday. Rooms are good size, basic, very clean & kept clean all week, good bathroom, good shower, great... More

Stayed here as part of a three nights Leger holiday. The room we got was on the ground floor and had a huge balcony that over looked the garden and pool. Rooms were well maintained and clean. Food in the hotel was good with four courses for dinner. The restaurant manger however was very unpleasant and shouted at guests in... More

Like many other reviewers I went on a Shearings Coach holiday with this place as the hub in Tuscany for included excursions to Siena, Roma and Florence with additional pay-for guided tours to Assisi, a nearby stunning lake and the exquisite hilltop town of Cortona and its galleries and streetside cafes.(Great drivers and knowledgeable elderly city tour guides throughout!). The... More

We stayed here during our Shearings holiday. The hotel was in a good spot for all the places we visited being close to motorway links etc however the hotel itself was in need of an overhaul and complete refurb. It was clean but the roof terrace and pool area need updating and some maintenance works need to be carried out... More

We stayed at the Hotel Mizar for 6 nights as part of a Shearing's touring holiday. The town of Chianciano being an ideal location for trips out to Siena, Rome & Florence. Our stay was on a bed, breakfast and evening meal tariff. We found the rooms nice and airy, perfectly adequate and clean. We would have preferred coffee making... More
