The breakfast is for Italian standards very extensive with both savory and sweet things; the different types of homemade cakes where the best. The room is spacious and clean. The price-quality of this hotel is top notch! The private parking lot is small (there was no place when when we arrived around 5PM). There is a large public parking at...

A great combination. It's an old-fashioned, family-managed hotel as most Italian hotels were in the 1960s and '70s, so it has smallish and basic rooms. On the plus side: rooms were recently and gracefully refurbished and re-equipped, as were common areas. The view from many rooms is great as it overlooks the countryside rather than the rest of the new...

We have nothing but good words for this hotel. Tucked away in a once bustling tourist town due to it's healing springs, med spas and magically water. My fiance and I rarely plan our road trips. We like to drive in a general direction and discover places we would never have known to go to. That is how we found...

While quite basic otherwise, this is an exceptional value hotel in Chiancino Terme. It has nice rooms overlooking the countryside, and is close enough to shops and restaurants in town. The staff aren't that helpful and there are no hot items on the breakfast, but it makes up for it in terms of exceptional value hotel - meeting some minimum...

Nice hotel, walking distance from the village historical centre. Good breakfast. We asked for two separate single bed and since they forgot it they gave us two double bedrooms at the same price. Air conditioning and shower perfectly working

The hotel offers good value for reasonable money. In my opinion it could be good enough for most of visitors. Certainly it is not luxuries place but you will get nice room and tasty breakfast (especially variety of sweets should be satisfying, but these ones who like toast, smoked meat and cheese get something as well).

Everything was perfect! Paola and Giuseppe were very lovely and friendly with us and with others, their hospitality has given more positively atmosphere to the little artistic and bohem hotel. The breakfast was great, and the room was as good as waited. Thanks for everything, and we will come back! ;)

Hotel is nicely decorated. The bathroom is excellent. Wifi is fast. Bed is good. Hotel owner as we pressumed is helpful and friendly. But I cannot give an excellent review because when we stayed it was quite windy and shutter in our window was so noisy that we did not sleep properly It feels like it hasn't been installed properly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
I borrow the phrase of one of our guest, "a kindness of other times" ... it's true, we like to make our guests feel good, we like the idea that you feel comfortable, we like to see the surprise in their eyes when they see the environment that we have created thinking about their comfort and above all else we like to see them smile. I'm Sergio, and seven years ago I decided to go back to my first job as a hotelier and, to my surprise, I discovered the pleasure of it. My travel experiences and life have brought them all here at Villa Gaia and found excellent location, we offer total freedom to guests and interact with them ... travel memories are added to the stories, the stories to the images, the images to the relationships, relationships to the people and people to the smiles ... Here it all begins and ends with a smile! Villa Gaia is not a hotel ... it's a place "otherwise cozy." ... more   less
