Beautifully located hotel, overlooking Ponte Vigo and offering breathtaking views over the marina and the Laguna Veneta. The hussle and bussle of the boats that come and go right on your doorstep. Recently renovated with great taste and attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. All rooms are air conditioned, but the staff can (and will) switch them off from... More

Stayed here as part of a trip around italy for my honeymoon. The hotel italia is great! Beautiful hotel outside and in! The rooms are lush and up to date stylish! The breakfast room and restaurant equally stunning! We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, food also wonderful, but there are good restaurants in Chioggia within a cheaper budget... More

It is a good hotel but with some big problems. Rooms and stuff were nice, but the breakfast is not enough for a 4start hotel. Also, if you are travelling for business it is more important to have a good wifi connection than a big room (at least for me), I was in the second floor and I could not... More

Solid 4 1/2 stars. As everywhere in Italy parking is challenging but you can get right to the front door to drop off bags. Very modern accommodations, helpful staff and adequate breakfast. Don't miss the croissants. Chioggia is a quaint if a bit run down village with lots of good food right out your door in a very nice Piazza.... More

We stayed at this hotel for my niece's wedding in the area. Nice staff, clean modern rooms. Breakfast was a bit basic for those expecting a good hearty meal. Good reasonable fish restaurants close-by. Be careful if you go out at night as there are no taxis after 10pm. One night we had to walk home after my niece's 'welcome... More

We stayed in Hotel Grande Italia this August. The hotel has a charm of the old townhouse building, renovated with taste in contemporary design. High ceilings and wide stairways - nice and roomy feeling. Location just at the waterfront, to be remembered. The room we had was quite elegant, the bed good, the lagoon view, with ships and yachts. Could... More

This hotel is well positioned, room was very clean but the bed dominated the room as was very little space for anything else. Very modern bed and modern glass wall with TV but it invaded the space too much. Air conditioning was just adequate. Bathroom was OK but our room you had no way of keeping the water in the... More

We had four nights here. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. We had great view of the water from our rooms. Towels changed daily and room returned to immaculate condition by cleaners each day. Staff very friendly with good English and German as well as native Italian. Couple of negatives- the breakfast is average- doesn't match the high standards of... More

This hotel has it all. Wonderful views across the bottom of the Venice lagoon. Next to the Vaporetta stop and at the end of the main street. Rooms are spacious and luxurious with a wonderful restaurant if not a little expensive. Furthermore Chioggia is a great place to spend a couple of days with wonderful restaurant sand vibrant night life.

The Grande Italia is a fantastic hotel, really worth every single one of their 4 stars. The location is just perfect: at the end of the main street of Chioggia, looking out over the laguna on one side, and looking out over the main street of Chioggia on the other side. Chioggia is a great little fishermen town, with great... More
