Rifugio Lagazuoi is well worth the long trek from Pederü (or one of the other, nearer lodges). The location offers splendid views (sunrise, sunset, and any time between), the staff are friendly and helpful, and the meals are delicious. (What a breakfast spread!) It's certainly...More

The red beet ravioli is a must have after a mountain hike or before exploring the Lagazuoi Tunnels. Hut is approachable by lift and trail so worthwhile for all abilities. Remember you need headlamp and should wear a helmet for the tunnels.

Perfect place! gorgeous view, delicious food, there is even a sauna!in my opinion, a mandatory place for the passage of the alta via1. there is a funicular. you can see the artifacts of the First World War.

Definitely take sweaters. Ee had a thunderstorm with hail and snow on our first night in June. We only hadthin sweaters and pac-a-macs. Problem is you can't predict the weather in the mountains. Already jealous of you... More
