          Spectacular setting at the top of a peak over 9000 ft high. The largest rifugio we stayed at in our week in the Dolomites with a number of private rooms and dormitories. No en suite rooms available but our room for 2 was comfortable and...More

          High quality food and friendly service. It is possible to taste many local dishes. Great view of the dolomites. It is reachable by a cableway. It's worth visiting nearby First World War fortifications.

          We are staying 2 nights mid-August. Can we expect it to be cold in the evenings? Will a warm sweater be sufficient for sitting out on the deck?

          Definitely take sweaters. Ee had a thunderstorm with hail and snow on our first night in June. We only hadthin sweaters and pac-a-macs. Problem is you can't predict the weather in the mountains. Already jealous of you... More
