Simple 2* family run hotel in a great location literally on the edge of the lake at Garda. Friendly English speaking staff. Rooms are neat clean and serviced daily. Many restaurants near bye but many close from early November until the following March.
Overnight, on thr halfway to France. Friendly, clean hotel. Perfect breakfast next to Lago di Garda. Hotel has no parking place, bu they have reserved places in an open air parking plot. You should pay it. Around 15min walk.

The Ancora along with a few other hotels/bars/restaurants is on a pedestrianised cobbled lake front with only taxis allowed in the vicinity. There is a carpark about 800 yards from the hotel, maybe slightly more. Go as if you are driving out of Garda towards Malcestine. As you almost leave the town the carpark is down on your left. Its frequently patrolled by police and short stay. (2 hours maybe). Can't remember how many euros an hour it is. Once you reach the Ancora they will re-direct you to an underground carpark that is more long stay. Hope this helps! Tracy
