The week we booked this hotel and planned this trip Abruzzo dominated the news for all the wrong reasons. It was too late to cancel and when we landed in Rome it was sunny and hot so we just decided to go ahead as planned. The hotel was excellent, modern built with no corners cut it even held the promise...

Stayed for one night on our trip from the Amalfi coast to the north. Hotel is fine, room is clean, good airco (which turns off when the target temp is reached), great shower. However, we didn't really feel welcome. Receptionist was standoffish and when she couldn't promptly find our reservation, she asked us first when we reserved (weeks before) and...

Hotel in excellent position within easy drive of city centre, approximately 1 hour drive to skiing, and the beach, 1 1/2 hour drive to Rome. The hotel was clean and comfortable, ( although the beds were quite hard!).The bathroom was modern with excellent shower. The hotel has a choice of restaurants, both very reasonable, and delicious food. The staff were...

I visited this place since there was a socisl event of a national (Italian) conference. I can't evaluate price since dinner has been included in tegistration. It was a big dinner (220 people). Appetizers outside very good as well as the dinner. Good rice in cheese, tortellini and meat. Dessert was wonderful. It was based on lemon cream and lemon...

Last week my wife, three children, and I spent a few nights in L'Aquila so that we could explore Assergi where my wife's family is from. What better place to spend these nights than Magione Papale! It was elegant, highly accommodating, and charming! Our relatives told us it was once a mill. The building was beautiful, the restaurant was excellent...

Firstly the area has little to offer. L'Aquila is a bit like a ghost town and little has been done since the earthquake. We chose this hotel for 2 nights in between Rome and Ravello to relax for a while. It was a struggle to find it but eventually we did. It is like an oasis in the middle of...

Good evening , We apologize for the delay with we respond. This is excellent hotel with perfect service and michelin star restaurant. We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed the facilities. The rooms are comfortable and fancy. Service people are very friendly and nice. We had also both dinners in the restaurants as the city is quite devastated after earthquake. Recommended stay in this area is 1 night - you will...
