This is an excellent hotel set in a nice tranquil location, the rooms are decorated to a high standard in a traditional style and the hotel has a comfortable and homely feel to it. The breakfast and dining offer high quality food and a great choice on the menu too. The hotel is conveniently situated on a main road leading...

Whilst travelling with friends in the area, we booked this hotel which appeared to be in the middle of nowhere. Imagine our surprise when we found this to be an excellent hotel. My room contained a very comfortable 4 poster bed with air-conditioning in a reasonably large room. The bathroom had a very spacious shower box which you wouldn't see...

The hotel was recommended by a friend who is also a lone female business traveller. She said the rooms were lovely, friendly owners and great food. So I gave it a go. The first surprise was the room: full 4 poster bed but so unusual for a hotel of this size and age there was air con in the room...

We were the only guests for lunch and yet were offered a full and interesting menu. The owner/manager couldn't have been more accommodating and the starters and main courses we chose were beautifully cooked and served. It would be easy to pass this restaurant by or even assume that it was an ordinary run of the mill eatery. But no,...

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The rooms were spotlessly clean, all the usual facilities available, very good sized shower room. Lovely warm greeting from the owner who made sure that we had everything that we needed and showed us all personally to our rooms. Breakfast order is taken the previous evening which is very handy...

We were a bit disappointed not to find a room on the coast for our weekend in Suffolk but having stayed at the Bull we do not regret that at all any more. When we first arrived and found that it was situated on a corner by the A140 I was a bit worried about traffic noise but our room,...

We have just arrived home after visiting my Father in Law in Suffolk to celebrate Father's Day. There were nine in our party, including our seven year old Grandson and eight month old Granddaughter. We were allocated four large and comfortable rooms, with a private entrance in this wonderful hotel. The family who own and run this establishment are perfectly...

Booked last minute for Mrs and myself for some much needed R&R. The room and the bathroom were massive and the bed.... Super King size. Staff were brilliant - really friendly and made you feel very welcome. We only had breakfast but it was really nice. It was such a peaceful experience and we came away feeling very chilled. Probably...

We have just spent two days at this superb establishment. The Auberge is beautifully appointed and we feel a great deal of love and care has been applied in it's creation. The food was delicious, the service friendly and impeccable and the whole 'package' conveyed the generosity spirit of the proprietors and their staff. Well done.
