Located on the beach, Sole Splendid Hotel is lovely. The large rooms are kept very clean and stocked and towels changed daily. The view of the Mediterranean Sea and Amalfi Coast is surely breathtaking!

What a lovely, old and quaint piece of paradise! Perfectly located across the street from the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean, with views of both land and sea.

We had a terrible experience getting there as we took the sorrento bus from the airport and it took 7 hours as we had to change buses twice. From Naples airport - come out the airport and turn left and go round the corner for the alibus into naples. From the bus station you need to get to the train station which is only a couple of minutes walk. Head for Mcdonalds and the station is just across the road. Take the train to Salerno. The bus to Maiori stops outside the station. I think it was the Amalfi bus. The buses are really busy and nobody queues, it is a free for all push and shove. some of the drivers are not keen to open the luggage hold and there is no comfortable room for luggage on the bus. Also if you do manage to get your luggage in the hold you will not get a seat. The bus takes an hour on a winding road so if you are standing it can be a bit uncomfortable. I would check out transfers/private hire.
