Stayed in on of the villas located in the grounds of the hotel. Very spacious very clean. We slept peacefully in a super king bed. Excellent views of the lake. Staff were extremely helpful food was superb excellent grounds to stroll around but we found this was a most relaxing holiday and will be back to this super hotel.

We stayed here in June this year and the hotel is located in a fantastic position around a bay about 15min walk from the centre of malcesine. The rooms are adequate if a little basic for this level of hotel rating. Although the pool is nice it is rather small but there are gardens to lie on your sunlounger. The...

We booked through Inghams and paid extra for private transfer from Verona airport direct to the Hotel which took an hour. We had two rooms next to each other in Villa Cristina which is separate to the main Hotel but literally 30 seconds walk. Rooms are lovely and spacious and clean and well kept. We were in rooms 49 and...

This was my first stay in the Hotel Maximilian. I cannot think of anything I didn't like about the Hotel. I was welcomed and escorted to my room. I cried when I saw the beautiful view. I loved the peace and tranquillity of this Hotel- there were plenty of sunbeds and places to watch the boats and read under the...

I went on a five night trip with my girlfriend to this beautiful part of Italy, with the wonderful hotel situated on the shores of Lake Garda. On arrival we were greeted with warmth and kindness from Eleonora. We were a few hours early for our check in, so dumped our bags and explored the local area. On our return...

We booked one week at Hotel Maximilian through Thomson Lakes and Mountains, and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival, not only were we greeted by a beautiful view of the lake, but also Mary -the hotel's two month old puppy!!! What a treat! Rooms: We were in room 64, which I hate to say, probably had the worst view of...

The hotel was very nice the staff and location were excellent, the food served for dinner was amazing, service in the restaurant was so professional and to very high standard, taken just a little to seriously but made you feel very special truly lovely experience. The whole holiday was amazing, the only thing that spoilt the experience was a wedding...
