A one-star hotel, not two as advertised and unfair prices. Very good location, with an attractive and simple entrance, but wait till you get in the bedroom. Bookings for a double bedroom overlooking the street were not respected and we were given a room in an extremely hot and sunny internal patio. Very small room, even the phone was on...

Visited for a wedding. A little mix up with booking when we arrived but not the fault of the hotel. The ladies were very helpful and got things sorted for us so a big thank you to them for their help. Hotel is basic but spotlessly clean , this all adds to character of hotel and it's lovely convenient location....

We stayed for 1 week June 2016. Room was very basic but clean. When booking we were aware there was no air con, but on arrival there was no fan in our room, which was needed due to how hot it was. We asked the hotel manager if she had a fan we could use and this was quickly provided....

We enjoyed staying here, basic but good value for the money. Well cleaned every day, Comfy bed, WiFi was good, very pleasant staff, great location for walks along the lake, shops, restaurants, castle, and cable car. Quiet in the evenings. No air conditioning but we had a fan supplied which was ok No Safe. Bed & Breakfast only no hot...

A quaint hotel at the bottom of a small cobbled street. We were greeted at the front entrance by one of ladies who run the hotel and was allocated room 108 which overlooked a narrow cobbled street. The room was nice, no bath but a shower which had hot water at all times - there were also complimentary toiletries. Whilst...

The hotel room was basic but clean and the location is brilliant! It's right in the centre but not noisy. We stayed 3 nights and were comfortable and found the breakfast good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This isn't luxury but it is handy and very competitively priced! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We were sceptical travelling with a 11 month baby and worried about booking a 'cheaper' hotel for my sisters wedding when she was staying at the Costello 4*but I have to say, the staff, mara, Claudia and Francesca were AMAZING. We felt so welcome in this comfortable and well located hotel. Yes it is a 2* but the breakfasts were...

Hotel Modena was in a perfect location, right next to the lake, shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. However, the hotel was a disappointment. The hotel is located down a tiny side road, it had no views from the bedrooms and no balcony. The rooms were pretty clean but had no luxuries. No coffee or tea facility, the bathroom was a...

We stayed at this lovely hotel at the start of June. Having never been to Italy, let alone Lake Garda, we didn't know what to expect. But as soon as we walked through the door of the Hotel Modena, we knew we had made a good choice. Booking in was friendly, efficient and good hearted. Our room was overlooking the...
