Amazing. Beautiful hotel overlooking the island of Capri. Warm and friendly. Best nights sitting on the huge private balconies under stars and sipping wine. Hidden gem. Great local feel. We will return. Thank you for the memories.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room overlooked the street The bathroom was antiquated, toilet squeezed in between a wall and a shower cubicle that was small, if you dropped something you had to open the shower door to retrieve it. The air conditioning was non-existent. We had a portable cooling unit that generated more heat than cool air and consequently did not sleep very wel and Had to have a window slightly open to generate some air. Despite having the curtains drawn we were covered in mosquito bites the next morning. Continental breakfast was the only food available when we visited in September, there was no evening meal as the kitchens were not open. On the plus side, yes there is one, the hotel is situated beside a quaint square overlooking Capri, where we sat and ate freshly prepared sandwiches bought from the local supermarket in the nearby.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel, maybe a 2. For location, be carefull because you need a car to get there since it's 12 km away from Sorrento. Very basic hotel with medium rooms with very small bathrooms. The cleaning level is very poor and the room we had was really noisy (you could hear the elevator and the washing machines through the walls). They say they have parking spots however this is not true. Don't take the elevator unless you want to get trapped as well. The owner was nice however that hotel deserves a big refurbishment. The only good thing was the view and breakfast.

We never experienced a horrible hotel like this one. They have 4 stars, but they don’t deserve a star at all! The breakfast is so small and not good. The staff is watching you and look at everthing you take. The male-receptionist is so unfriendly and rude! We had an issue with parking our car( because there is almost no parking!) and he said that it’s not his problem. Our room was a disaster. It was so small and dirty. There is No space enough in the shower and there was hair all over the bathroom. There were evenings that I had no warm water to shower.the towels were dirty and old. They also said that the WiFi was fast, but It goes on and off. Don’t book this hotel!!!!

Incat hotelul este supraapreciat ,astfel 2 stele este mult mai apropiat de realitatate English Version: Family, staying between April 3, 2018, for 7 nights, stay for Napoli Sorento, just as Sorento is very far away from the tourist attractions, from Termini where the Caruso Hotel is actually located. I lived in 2nd floor with balcony. The morning is splendid with the view of Capri Island. Dinner without taste, insipid. The dinner served with a single waiter (who was the head of the hall, waiter and teacher instructor for tourists. Invented culinary specialties, tasteless, served by a tired, tired old man with unpredictable reactions. The room where we lived well furnished, classical, clean. Beautiful balcony with table 2 chairs and 2 chaise longues. I had 2-3 days with rain and clouds. I have only had in the last days serene, the opportunity to admire Capri Island. Small bathroom. Old, yellow old bidet. Shower cabin with sliding doors with plastic walls. Too much shower, hard to use, and hot water is getting too cold and washing with cold water continues, and low pressure without power. Because the hotel is overestimated, so the 2 stars is much closer to the realities.

Hotel Caruso: Set on three floors, I had a room on the first floor which had no view, the room was basic nothing outstanding, the toilet stopped flushing twice, breakfast was basic and remained the same. Reception staff: was always very cheerful and helpful. There is a lovely view of Capri, and a good bus service to the beach, port Or Sorrento main town,

Stayed here recently with friends. Hotel is in a quiet village with lovely views of Isle of Capri. Rooms were Very Small especially the bathrooms. The shower was so small you could hardly turn around. Very large verandah which was good but was Bigger than the room itself. The hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast was adequate but not much variety and the female staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the male owner was not helpful at all when we asked about going to Isle of Capri, giving us wrong information and suggesting we should not go that day ( it was only 9am) because we were too late. The beds were very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in the mattress. The room did have a safe which was good. I would not stay here again.

Really friendly staff, awesome breakfast (more international... since in Italy i only ate croissant in all the hotel breakfast since I arrive). Is not a 4 stars hotel ... but I will say is a 3, the room was cleaned and comfortable.

This place had the smallest rooms I have ever seen. The balcony was larger than our room. We could only open our balcony door wide enough to fit through because the door hit the bed. Also the shower stall was barely large enough for someone to stand in and the floor of the stall was dirty. Also the free Wifi never worked. The staff at the hotel were rude and mean to our students and the chaperones. One of the staff members always looked ticked off, she never smiled. She would only allow 1 person in the elevator at a time. Also at dinner they watered down the wine that was given to the chaperones. The view of Capri from the balcony was stunning, but that is the only thing going for this hotel.

Stayed here recently with a group. Hotel lobby and restaurant are modern and updated very nicely. The room was original, not very big, but clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower had a good, strong pressure. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, which were both satisfactory. Service was very friendly. The area can be described as quaint, with a small church and a few shops in the central area. We had desert in the bar/cafe across the street from the hotel. Two prosecos, 2 cappuccinos, 3 pastries were a total of 15Euro! What a deal!
