We had a 4 night stay in this hotel, and a very pleasant experience it was. A 3 minute walk to the railway station where clean and reliable trains were readily available to take you on a 6 minute journey for the price of €1 in the centre of Venice. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, the official...

This hotel is definitely a very basic hotel. Everything was basic from the room to the breakfast to the service provided by the front desk. The room was tiny with no views but at least it was clean. On our first day we went down to the front desk to ask for directions into Venice. The hotel receptionist looked bored...

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It was in Mestre, across the bridge from Venice. We wanted the convenience of being near the train station and found the price much better than staying in Venice proper. We didn’t feel the need to pay hundreds more to stay on the Grand Canal. Taking the bus from the airport took...

Hotel Piave is definately the worst hotel in whole of Europe. The management is rude, obnoxcious and stuffed up. A bald guy at the reception was straight out of Roald Dahl's stories. He felt as if he was doing us a favour by being present at the reception. The rooms were ugly and horrible. The phones did not work. When...
