We booked a ten day cruise that included three days 'in Venice' with Cruise 1st so hey should bear the responsibility for this booking. The room was stale and barren, the furniture probably fifty years old, the room small and smelly. The furniture could not even be described as basic. It was much worse. The bathroom was small and the... More

The hole hotel seems that is from another world....Stone Age...!!!! It was cold in the room, no hot water and everything looks extremely used and old and it smells!!! I would never recommend this hotel or the agency, which told us that everything is great and amazing and they charged us extra money for a horrible service!!!

This place is not like what it looks like in the photo's. As soon as you enter the hotel had a horrible damp smell. The place looked worn out and really dated. This place is not a 3 star but like a B&B. Had to rebook into another hotel, that's how bad it was.

This hotel is ok for a couple of nights. It is located in a residential area with not much around. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful they spoke better English than my Italian. The beds were comfortable and the heating was on, the shower was fine and they provide towels, soap, shower gel. The telly was... More

I was going to stay in this hotel around 13 October with my family for two nights and booked non refundable rate. When I came to the room - heating was off, room damp and bed linen wet. Air conditioning was not present at all. When I booked I was advised that all this is available. It was less then... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a mini break. The hotel was clean with friendly staff. The rooms are basic as is the breakfast. It could do with modernising but as we used the hotel only as a base for a bed at night it perfectly met our needs. The shop next door sells bus tickets and the... More

I stayed at Hotel Ariston for a night. The room was not big but I had a good night sleep. The bathroom had average size but it was very clean. Toiletries, towels and hair dryer were offered. There was A/C and since it was July it was really nice to have it but at some point it became too chilly... More

This is a OK hotel to sleep and plan your trip to the centre of Venice. The rooms are small. The bathroom even smaller. But then again...i am Dutch and we are the the tallest nation in the world, so could be big enough if you are not that tall. The breakfast was sufficient, but don't expect to much.

please bear in mind that I use a hotel as a base to sleep and not as a place to sit in for hours on end in a day. Firstly, getting to the hotel from the airport was easy. Get off in Mestre and get the number 2h bus which brings you outside the hotel. Total cost 9.50 euros. I... More
