The reviews brought me to the hotel and they were spot on: extremely helpful owners and very clean rooms; ample breakfast and I cannot stress enough how helpful the owners were. Would stay there again.

So I'd been travelling all day, came across this hotel near Mestre station. Should have kept going, and found somewhere else. Run by Chinese people, with barely any English spoken, and their Italian didn't seem to be all that fantastic either. The room was clean enough, but very small , and all the bedding and towels smelled of pickling vinegar...

I will try to be short and clear. I Booked 10 days in advance and the morning of the day I Was in Mestre I called. The owner said: good that you called, otherwise I would have given the room away. When I arrived late in the evening they wanted the money on spot. I entered the room, it was...

We stayed one night in Hotel Cortina without a reservation, and luckily we got the last room available. The room was spacious and clean, with enough space for 4 people. It was 2 minutes walk from the train station while being quite and safe. The owner and staffs were all very kind and helped us a lot with all our...

Location is one minute walking from Mestre Station and 15 minutes bus from Venice Central. Room and bathroom are very clean, bed was comfortable, the staffs and owner are super nice, and wifi works great.

I decided not to stay in Venice and pay the prices - besides my bus for Austria the next morning was early and I didn't want to have to fuss with Venice/bags/etc. in early morning - so i stayed here. Was not disappointed. Run by a "Chinese" family that is very kind and full of good advice. The room was...

Excellent considering the price - the room was very clean, and the location was fantastic. I paid 50 euros for the night. Also, they had a nice little Chinese restaurant next to the hotel. Would come here again.

We had come off a cruise and we were looking for somewhere convenient to Marco Polo Airport for our flight the following day. We checked into Hotel Cortina around 1 pm and found the staff very courteous. The room was plain but very clean and a nice bowl of fresh fruit was there for us. We were able to return...

the clerck at the desk in "hotel cortina" was unplesent, look at us and made a face as if wondering how much he can ripp us off - saying 90 eoro for one night, an extremly high price for a rotten b&b , without elevator and small building, the hour was late but we tried to find another hotel/b&b in...

“Decided to stay in Mestre instead of going into Venice (Islands) and found this gem - well worth the train ride into Venice for value, savings, and comfort. Just steps from train station BUT very quiet.”

“Ask for a room at the back! There is a little souvenir shop in a Tabacchi further down the street opposite side -on a corner). Their Murano glass is quite a lot cheaper then in Murano (owner also has a factory) and they were very honest pointing out the Chinese glass (fake) from the original. The lady serving spoke very good English and was very helpful and left us to choose and take our time! We ended up buying most of our Venice souvenirs there!”
