We stayed for one night on our way from Catania Airport to Stromboli. B&B Re Umberto is ten minutes walk from the Ustica Lines office in the port which also happens to be where the Giantabus from Catania Airport terminates. Umberto is also about 20 minutes walk from the castle which offers great views of the surrounding area. The B&B...

It is very well located and Piero is very gentle host. The rooms are really nice and clean with many well thought details. Congrats! Just don't forget to tell what time you are arriving so they can expect you for check in.

Rooms are far, far better than I would expect at this price. Large, airy and with excellent bathrooms. Excellent, very friendly service. I was leaving early the next morning as had to catch a ferry. A breakfast was arranged for me to take away with me without having to ask. Port is a five minute walk, making a perfect stop...

We stayed 2 nights at B&B Umberto: the night before we left for the Eolian Islands and the night when we returned. Very nice modern and recently renovated rooms. Nice bathroom with everything you need. Quit rooms, even though in center of Milazzo. 10 min. walk to the ferries to the Eolian Islands.Very good basis for a trip to the...

We were traveling through Sicily without a plan and found this place through TripAdvisor. What a wonderful apartment! Piero was absolutely fantastic as a host and the place was, if not better, then on par with 4 star hotels. We loved it. Sadly we only had one day before we were taking a train to Taormina but we are so...

We we're pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. Piero, the owner, greeted us warmly and showed us to our favorite room in Sicily, thus far. We booked the Apartment with a Private...

B&B Re Umberto looks brand new, despite the fact that the owner reports that it's four years old. When we arrived at the B&B the door was closed so we had to call the number listed to see if there was room to stay. Piero immediately came up the street and met us outside and then took us through a...

Definitely one of the best experience this year in Sicily, as far as hotels were concerned. The B&B, quite close to the harbour, convenient for people coming from the Aeolian Islands, is in an old building, totally refurbished, CLASSY, spotless. The owner is very friendly and helped me with my luggage upstairs - one floor. Huge breakfast. The bedroom with...

We were very satisfied with the accommodation and care! The rooms were very nice (enough space and a very good equipped bathroom) and quiet and the breakfast was good. Piero is a good caring host! Some people say that Milazzo isn't an interesting place. We don't agree because we had e few interesting days and could choose out of several...
