Although we were a little iffy about staying outside of the actual old city of Venice, this hotel turned out to be the right choice. It is very easy to find, the setting is beautiful, everything looks new/fresh.

To be honest, I don't remember how I got to the airport because we came by train from Rome. Then from Venice we flew to Barcelona. Ok I remembered now, I asked the Hotel guy if he can get me a Cab and in the morning, the cabby was there waiting for us. I think it was like 48 Euro for the both of us. That's what we paid in Rome to get to the airport. There Cap fees are regulated and I am not sure if they finally got the UBER.
