Great place near Montepulciano (although a bit to far to walk to the city). This was our second stay here, this time in the Il Fico appartment, for one week. Spacious and fresh, next to the pool. Beautiful garden, nice and quiet location. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

We spent a wonderful week at Agriturismo Casagrande. The location is very well positioned in a quiet area in the country side and only a few minutes by car from Montepulciano. The rooms are very comfortable and well equiped and the pool is great - large enough to be able to actually swim. Giacomo, Gianmarco and Pino were great hosts...

The villa is simply appointed, but the surroundings are beautiful and brothers GianMarco and Giacomo couldn't be nicer and more helpful as co- managers of the estate. Our group were 11 women who decided to get away from it all in Italy and we were fortunate to all be able to stay comfortably at the villa. We were able to...

We were a group of 11 women who had a BLAST staying for a week in November, 2013. The villa itself was beautiful and the setting among vineyards, olive trees, and rolling hills - gorgeous! The location is convenient allowing us to do day trips to Florence, Pisa, the beach, and Venice (by train). I recommend having a car. The...

My husband and I and two friends stayed at Casagrande (L'Olmo) for a week in May. We were thrilled to drive down the cherry tree lined lane, to walk up to the deck and see the amazing views and then to enter our home for the week.. so much charm and character. It was well appointed with two washrooms and...

In September 2012 we spent one week in a charming old house – Agroturismo „Casagrande”. Around the olive groves and vineyards, very close to the gorgeous Montepulciano. Friendly hosts – brothers Giacomo and Gianmarco – spoke English freely and helped us with everything we need. We stayed in the apartment „La Quercia” appointed very comfortable - with bathroom, kitchen corner...

We stayed here for 5 nights in September and only wish we stayed longer. The apartment (L'olivo) was fabulous. Really well kitted out and beautifully furnished with plenty of towels and seating. Despite the high temperatures it never felt warm indoors due to the thick walls. The whole place is gorgeous and in a really quiet and peaceful location -...

We stayed in the Quercia room, for four nights in late August. The property is about one mile from the town center, and is set amongst the beautiful, vine-lined hills of Tuscany. Our room had its own bathroom, a small kitchen area, and comfy bed. There was no AC, but it was plenty cool since we were able to open...

We've had a fantastic stay in Casagrande. The flat was spacious and comfortable. The bed in our sleeping room was just like the one in the movie 'Under the Tuscan Sun'. The swimming pool was really big and nice. The surroundings including the olive grove and lavender flowers were creating a magnificent atmosphere. Gianmarco and his brother have informed us...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casagrande is a beautiful house in the country recently restored, in the picturesque countryside of Montepulciano, an ancient city with interesting Medieval and Renaissance history. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods, it is an ideal location for a quiet and relaxing holiday immersed in nature. The villa has been divided into seven apartments completely independent and furnished with excellent taste using furniture and original Tuscan materials; it is very comfortable and bright and the careful restoration has maintained in tact an atmosphere of old Tuscany. The apartments are surrounded by green valleys and offer a splendid rural panorama.A swimming pool 7x14 metres is available for the guests in the large private garden. You can play tennis at the Fantina, less than 2 km away, make relaxing and pleasant excursions or walks in the woods and in the surrounding countryside. The geographic position is the best for visiting Tuscany and Umbria with their interesting historic and artistic centres. ... more   less

“Our apartment was in the annex just by the main house which is split into two separate apartments and I think is probably the nicest place to stay on the property.”
