This was actually a nice stay. But some friends and I were going to have coffee. I went to the counter and waited 10 minutes before the lady came over ti help me. I asked for coffee and the only thing she said was they only serve their customers. Who ever heard of an Italian place refusing to serve coffee....

Didn't book anything in advance and unfortunately every place was full! Found this place on a drive by and took it as a last option. Thankfully only for one night. The room looked like it had been furnished from garage sales! Old and outdated. The bed has so old the mattress had lumps and slumps in it and it was...

We were on a tour in Tuscany without booking any hotels. We started from Rome with our new 500 fca and we had no problem finding accommodation. In Montepulciano it was full for a fair autumn. We stumbled upon a place in this hotel really well located with good parking. We slept well to eat well at breakfast. Thank you

Stayed for a weekend getaway. The location was excellent, walking distance from the historic city center. Euro-style breakfast was passable, but spartan. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, towels were great. TV was a strange combo of a computer screen and a kluged on receiver that got about a thousand Italian channels. The place was very clean, and the staff...

Granducato is in a great location for visiting this lovely historic town and with free parking right outside. The hotel is a bit frayed around the edges but is clean and reasonably comfortable with air con and a fridge in the room. WiFi is abysmal and frustrating. Breakfast is just ok and we bought fruit from the supermarket over the...

Location is great, short walk to city center and they have car park, which is free. Breakfast is average, equipment and furniture in room is old, but room is big and clean. Maybe someone will have problem entering the shower as shower door is small. Overall you get great locatin with free parking for good price. For a day or...

We were originally booked into the II Granduca for 3 nights but decided to extend our stay by another night because we had such a great time in Florence. The hotel was located a short walk from the centre of the tourist area and was really great value for money. We had an excellent sized room on the top floor....

This hotel is a short walk to the old town center and that is about all you can say about it. I arrived in town without a reservation and ended up here because they had car parking. Rooms are very basic and not very inviting. Service was adequate but basic. I was given a room facing the car park so...
