My dad and I got to Montepulciano really late at night with reservations for another hotel. We got there and had to call the host who told us that it was too late to check in and that we wouldn't be able to stay there. We went to a nearby bar and asked what to do. The man working there...

This hotel is located in a great spot with a two minute walk to main square and an easy drive into town. The hotel offers free parking in a nearby lot for guests. The rooms are large however bathrooms are small. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very close to the main piazza at the 'top' of the city. Thankfully they provide parking so you can drive up unload luggage, park the car and wander around the gorgeous city of Montepuliciano. The city streets are very steep. The only lift in this hotel is for transporting luggage up and down the floors...the foot traffic...

We were very happy with this very quaint and lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect when arriving at this hotel, but were very pleased with the results. The hotel as in a perfect location, right in town and we were able to walk everywhere. The room was really cute, clean and the breakfast was perfect for our needs....

Albergo Duomo is a quiet and peaceful hotel with very service minded staff. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance to all the exciting offerings of Montepulciano ; Osteria Acquachetta and Cafeteria Poliziano are excellent examples. The hotel has an enclosed garden where you can enjoy your breakfast - and a glass of wine before dinner.

Important to note we visited the hotel in 2010 (had to click on 2015 by default). We wanted to visit the Tuscan hill town where one of the Twilight movies was filmed. As well, we wanted to sample the great wines of Montipulciano. The hotel is old, as are all the buildings there. But it is well maintained and they...

Our room, at the back of the hotel, was quiet and comfortable and overlooked a courtyard. We were able to sleep with the window open. The bathroom was tiny and of a standard I would normally associate with a one or two star hotel. The location is excellent - inside the old city and a one minute walk from the...

Great Albergo in the heart of Montepulciano. We had a rental and drove into the city center to find the place -- yes it's in a ZTL, but you can enter (do so respectfully) and park temporarily, or if you're lucky there are spots just before the ZTL and you can walk to check in and get your parking pass....

I arrived in Montepulciano without hotel reservations on a Friday afternoon in May coming from Siena where I rented a car, which is the best way to move around this lovely region. In Siena's Tourist Office I had bought some nice brochures of different towns nearby (3 euros each). Montepulciano was the one I decided to stop in for my...

This hotel is located close to the main Piazza with the Palazzo Comunale and the Duomo, which is where most visitors will want to be. However Montepulciano is spread out for some distance along the ridge so if you need a bank (for example), it's some distance away. My room was satisfactory, with basic furnishings, although the bathroom was somewhat...
