the location is perfect for exploring the town and close to the funicular for travelling by train to other cities. There is secure parking nearby which should be booked with the hotel before you arrive. The bed is comfortable and the shower hot, but the room was a little 'tired' and could do with a facelift. The hosts were very...

This hotel was perfect for us. Right on the main thoroughfare, yet not noisy. Air conditioning was wonderful in late August when the days were still pretty warm. The breakfasts were really tasty and the cappuccino each morning was to die for. The front desk personnel were very helpful and cheerful. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and roomy....

Recommended to go to Orvieto and to stay in this hotel. It is a friendly hotel with room that are a little small but very well presented. It is on the 'main' street, no traffic most of the day, not allowed. Breakfast is ample.

I was travelling as a single person. The room was a good size for one person. The decor is a little dated. The outside of the hotel is quaint and medieval, much to my liking. The location is very good, close to all the major sites of the town and good access to the funicular. The breakfast was ample and...

The hotel is a gentle 5 minute stroll to the Duomo and pretty much in the centre of town with access to shops and restuarants. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room whilst not massive was clean and the bathroom was adequate. There was a lift so that saved lugging two suitcases up the stairs and I think overall...

Traveled here on a day trip from Rome with no expectations. We were met by a very friendly man who showed us to such a grand room! We wound up enjoying our stay in Orvieto that we booked a second night and considered a third. Hotel Corso was perfectly located, near the funicular in a quiet area with the duomo...

Although in many ways this is a perfectly adequate hotel with charming, if slightly dated, decor, we have to report an appalling incident on our first morning. We arrived at the breakfast room to find two tables occupied and all the rest uncleared and dirty. We waited for a while but no staff appeared. So we went to reception and...

Really looked forward to our stay in Orvieto. Restaurants and stores looked wonderful. After a big day, we arrived to the lobby ready to check in to two rooms. They have an elevator and wi fi, we were guided to our rooms but instead of upstairs in the hotel, our rooms were ground level in a separate entrance. Challenging locks,...

Bit of a quirky hotel this. Had a lovely room (16) with a great little balcony overlooking gardens and to the side, people watching on the Corso Cavour (Main Street). Good bathroom and shower (door needs attention). Ceiling decoration is quite bizarre and one wonders at the mind who's idea it was! Breakfast adequate, cake lovers would say great, very...

Hotel Corso has a great location in Orvieto, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it. The rooms are fair, the breakfast is rather low-end, the noise level is mostly irritating and the staff is average. We have spent 7 weeks in Italy in the last two years and this property is close to the bottom of...
