From the second we arrived the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us, from reception staff the Manager and restaurant staff, everyone is so helpful and friendly even though we don't speak a word of Italian. The hotel is spotlessly clean with lovely fresh bedding and towels, and proper towels not ones that just about cover your bum! Rooms spacious...

We had an enjoyable week at the Hotel Saline at the start of the season. The staff were fantastic, one of our children has a nut allergy and I know the whole team went out of their way to make sure they could cater for her throughout our stay, we could not have asked for more. The formal activities had...

We visited the Saline at the end of the season as the hotel was winding down. The occupancy was low but the service level remained high. The selection of food was varied and well presented. The day time activity programme had finished but if the hotel was full in the high season some people might find it too much. The...

Stayed in this hotel at the very start of the season(may 2011)had travelled for a family wedding. The staff team were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The head waiter Tony was always welcomed us and accomodated our varied tastes in food, very professional.A room with a sea view is a must.I cannot comment on noise or entertainment as this had not commenced...

It was a delight to stay at the Hotel Saline, we (my partner and myself) arrived to such a warm welcome. The front receptionist took time to explain about our room and the services which the hotel covers. Our room was facilitated with the expectations we endeavoured, it was cool and clean. The room was cleaned on a daily basis,...

This July was our second visit to this hotel and, if anything, we enjoyed our stay even more than last year. There were three in our party, myself, partner and daughter, aged 4 and we stayed for ten nights. The staff are a great asset to the hotel. Without exception, they were all very friendly, helpful and attentive and seemed...

My wife, daughter aged 5 and step-son aged 9 and I just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay at Hotel Saline. Service: I got the feeling the staff were falling over themselves to make sure we had a good time. They succeeded. Be VERY careful if you are considering this hotel. This hotel is an Italian 'Butlin's'. If you're looking for a 'holiday camp' then you won't be disappointed. They blast music out across the beach and throughout the hotel morning through to late night. Awful cheesy 'karaoke' style singers all evening (there's no escape from it), baby-disco (I'm not kidding) and...

Dear Sir, Receiving bad reviews is part of the play but, quite honestly, only when they are reliable. One night stay can’t give a right idea of a place. Sometimes it is really difficult to balance different needs but the fact that this is a family hotel explains the music and entertainment until 11.00 pm in the evening. The hotel’s...

The photographs of the Hotel would indicate that this is a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Think again. If you like music blasted out through a single speaker (akin to what you would expect with a travelling fairground ride) punctuated with the equivalent of a Butlins Red Coat shouting into a microphone in Italian, presumably telling everybody they're having...

Great ambiance, incredible crystal clear water, a serious children program and great weather make for a top family vacation destination. The restaurant service is superior and the whole place is spotless. The establishment is run by one of the best known families of hoteliers of the Sorrento coast. We recommend considering water shoes for small children due to the reef...
