We travelled from a small hotel in scala, and oh what a difference. Totally exceeded our expectations. Incredible room overlooking the gardens and beautiful smells of the lemon trees. Food was great, and staff very attentive.highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April. Hotel clean, rooms good size with clean updated bath. Balcony in room 22 overlooks front of property with the wonderful smell of lemons from the trees below. Breakfast typical for Italy hotels. The location here is key! Main sidewalk full of shops with short walk to beach below. Front desk happy to make...

We arrived from Amalfi and thought we had the best stay there but this hotel continued to exceed our expectations. Our room was fantastic a corner room on the second floor of the old hotel with a balcony looking out over the pool and a view of the 13th century church next door and views of the sea beyond. The...

We stayed at the Palazzo Murat for three nights in early April. The staff was very polite and professional. The room had a nice view on the gardens, and the fragrance of lemon trees below was very pleasant. The only minor downside was with the technology - the wifi connection was not very good and the TV service was disappointing....

Everything about our stay at Hotel Palazzo Murat was exceptional. The service, the value, the food, the views, the extra services touches and effort from all staff (none of which was requested, but is simply a great example of the thoughtfulness of the staff and how good they are at anticipating needs of customers). I wish we had stayed longer...

The hotel is beautiful, and in a central location in Positano. We were able to easily walk down to the beach, up to the shops, etc. The only drawback of the location is that you can't get there by car, which made drop offs difficult - we had to drag our luggage up and down the somewhat steep walkway and...

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Palazzo Murat in a large room on the second floor of the newer building. Aside from getting very lost trying to find the hotel (my own fault for not listening to our drivers directions & then too stubborn to ask for directions - just head down the main path to the beach & you...

We spent a week at Hotel Palazzo Murat in September 2013. The weather in Positano was still in the mid 70's to low 80's. We had a very large room on the second floor of the original building and looked out on to the ocean, cathedral dome, palm trees and the terrace and grounds below. Our room was very beautiful,...

We stayed here for 8 nights of our honeymoon and loved every minute. Couldn't fault anything. Very clean with lovely gardens, pool area and courtyard. Would recommend to anyone. Great location right in the heart of the town.

My wife and I travel quite a bit. We recently stayed at this hotel (Oct 22--26th, 2013) and had a wonderful time! This hotel is an easy walk to the beach (for trips to Capri) or the great restaurants that have a view of the water. Our room was luxurious: large, airy, a garden view and quiet! The staff were...
