Have just returned from a most enjoyable 7 night stay at the lovely Best Western Pasitea in Positano and can't recommend it highly enough if you want something good that doesnt break the bank as a lot of hotels on The Amalfi Coast do. The hotel is very friendly, well run, spotlessly clean and well located slightly away from the...

We booked two standard double rooms, but when we went there the man at the desk told us that a kind of update was occurred and that we would get "different" rooms. The rooms we got were two amazing suites with every kind of comfort!!! (i think they have all the stardard rooms full and they preferred to give us...

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is homely and comfortable.Probably not a 4 star hotel in our own opinion but a very good 3 star. The only thing that bothered us slighly was the size of our room but we lived with it. All staff were friendly and very helpful. They...

Thanks for your kind review and for helpful information on buses to Positano. Positano is so famous thanks to its vertical position. The steps, though numerous, give a unique charm to the town of Positano. In front of our hotel, there is a bus stop that takes you on the beach. We looking forward perhaps during the Christmas period. Greetings....

Upon arrival we were told there was a "problem with our room" as there was an issue with the air conditioning and we would need to stay in villa franca up the road. After pulling our luggage a few hundred metres up the road we were given a tiny room which we were told was an upgrade. The room was...

If you want one of the most convenient places to stay in Positano, this is it. Free car parking, free Internet with a strong signal, the bus stops at the front door and the rooms are BIG.

We were here in the off season and this Best Western was not fully operational. This was our first time in Positano and after trying 5 or so better located properties we booked here in desperation. We fast trained from Rome to Naples and that is excellent but fell into the trap of catching the CircumVesuviana local train to Sorrento...

We were on a family trip to Italy and stayed at the Pasitea for 3 nights. The rooms came with a beautiful terrace overlooking Positano & the sea with sunbeds and a small coffee table. Location of the hotel is very good as the bus to Positano's center is just outside the reception. The fact that the hotel is not...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Overlooking the bay of Positano, the Positano Art Hotel Pasitea is a perfect example of Mediterranean architecture, with its masonry, lava stone and wrought iron furnishing. Completely renovated, the Hotel has the typical terrace-structure which can be immediately recognized thanks to the magnificent bougainvillea coming up from the vulcanic rocks to underline the property shapes made of arches and vaults. The Hall has a blue flooring painted of white waves which reminds the water sea movement. The circular stairs leads to every floor from which enjoy a different amazing view of Positano and of the sea. All the rooms are wide, air conditioned, with satellite television and individual balconies overlooking the sea. Each one faces a wonderful seaside landscape and the suites have a seaview Jacuzzi. The hotel has also a very special wine bar, where it’s possible to have dinner, taste the best products of Italian gastronomy and chose from a great selection of national wines. Free Wi-Fi ADSL connection and efficient business corner in the lobby. Private car park with an extra charge. ... more   less
