Our 5th time in Italy but the first time in the mountains. we knew the scenery would be spectacular but it was beyond our expectations. Our stay at Rosa Alpina was also beyond our expectations. From the receptionists (all of them) to the concierge who knew exactly the trails we should hike to the food at the Grill and St....

This hotel in the small village of San Cassiano, Italy, is perfect for days of hiking in the region. The lobby , bar, library, fitness center, spa are beautifully decorated with cookies, candies around for the taking. Breakfast is bountiful with special requests for omelets , hams, and other meats readily available. The spa area is 3 separate zones: one...

We are glad to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you did some hiking in the area. The Dolomites landscape is really one-of-a-kind. You should come back in the winter for some skiing, it's equally beautiful. Warmest regards, Rachele Belladelli

The hotel is truly outstanding. Luxurious but understated, our room (a junior suite), newly renovated, was spacious and bright, with lots of natural wood, a comfortable seating area, and an attractive bathroom with a double sink and walk-in shower. The reception area and lounges are welcoming (an enticing assortment of candies and in the afternoon, homemade cookies are way too...

We stayed three nights at the Rosa Alpina and had a pretty good stay there. It's a nicely decorated hotel and it's a good mix of old and new. The room was large and had a good view of the town and the mountains. We really enjoyed the saunas too, and both had a great massage at their spa. They...

Wonderful property in a gorgeous setting. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a larger room - it was beautifully furnished and had a good sized bathroom. Staff were very friendly and the daily breakfast generous. We had dinner at St Hubertus and that was wonderful. If I had one small suggestion to make, maybe the hotel could provide...

We loved our recent stay at Rosa Alpina. We ate, drank, hiked, climbed, swam, enjoyed the spa, stayed in their mountain cabin one night and had an all-round splendid time! Don't hesitate to book Rosa Alpina. It really is a wonderful place for the entire family!

We're in Bavaria at the moment, having just come off of 6 nights at the wonderful Rosa Alpina. (Took the train from Bolzano north through the Brenner Pass, btw a nice way to enter southern Germany). My partner and I were looking for a low-stress hiking vacation and this really hit the spot. Wonderful hikes of varying levels of challenge....

We over-nighted in the hotel primarily to eat in the restaurant. The hotel is in the center of quaint village, San Cassiano. The town is an excellent base for summer hiking.
