We have stayed in this wonderful hotel for the last 10 years on our annual ski trip and with the recent renovations it is even more fabulous. The welcome you receive from the owner family is so warm and genuine; The staff and service could not be friendlier with nothing being too much trouble . It goes without saying that...

One week trip for five couples. The hotel is modern, clean, well appointed, and in a reasonably good location for skiing, although the ski in - ski out feature is overstated. Relying on the hotel shuttles is fine in the morning, only if you are heading into Selva, but restricted to 1 pickup point in mid-Selva for the afternoon at...

We stayed at the Portillo for two nights. The hotel is very modern and built up with high quality products. The hotel is located a little bit out of town. The free bus shuttle brings you every morning to the ski lifts. We did not have dinner at the restaurant, but the menu looked very nice. I can highly recommend...

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for 3 nights in the end of august. And what a wonderful decision it came out to be. It is a 4 star hotel but amenities and facilities wise it should be rated as 5 star. The staff is amazing. Always welcoming and ready to help. Got to enjoy free sunday drinks and snacks(courtesy...

First visit to this hotel and very impressed, great location just a 2 minute walk to the main square, so nice and quiet at night. Hotel has undergone a revamp, the lobby, bar area is lovely, plenty of free car parking. Its a family run hotel, very welcoming and they take a great pride in ensuring the hotel looks its...

This family run hotel has now the set the standard for my future hotel experiences,in terms of customer service, quality, value for money and all round customer experience. I stayed with 4 friends (3 adults and a child.) for a week of skiing in March. Throughout our stay we continuously remarked at how wonderfully accommodating the entire staff & family...

It is true what most people feel about holiday venues, "Try something new". When it comes to this most stylish and welcoming "home", this thought fails to apply. We returned twice during the past winter months, notwithstanding numerous visits in previous years. Are we bored or is it time for a change? - not in the slightest. As soon the...

We stayed at the hotel between 3-15 Jan 2015. We are keen skiers and travel to the Alps twice a year and have stayed in many hotels over the years. This was our first stay at the Portillo, but I have to say that we are truly impressed and would definitely go back there, should we decide to go to...

We have been coming to the Portillo for several years as it is just like 'home from home'. We are always remembered and welcomed with open arms by the amazing family Senoner who look after our every need. The newly styled bar and reception areas are modern but still retain the charm and warmth of this great family run hotel....

“We stayed in the classic rooms, apparently these rooms have yet to be renovated (I was informed that there are plans to complete the renovations this year.), but honestly it was so well maintained you couldn't detect that it requires a face lift. But there are more modern rooms so asked about these during the time of booking if you want his option.”

“Room 66 (junior suite) is excellent quality and size for a skiing resort. The mountain view is breath-taking. Guests (especially children) using the outdoor jackuzzi may get a bit noisy, but this is only couple hours a day in the late afternoon.”
