The hortel location is great, and we had a very pleasant stay, room on the 2nd (room 218 wine room), facing away from the disco and towards the main centre / mountain. Note comments on TA about noise from disco- as this was closed for a number of days in our stay, no issues, until the end of the week...

We stayed at this hotel from 26th Feb to 5th March & had an excellent time. Our Neilson reps Judith & Tony were amazing ad had a great relationship with the hotel. The hotel was typical ski style hotel with some amazing wood carvings produced by a local carver who had a shop in he town (his talented work was...

We had a room on the 3rd floor which was never properly cleaned in the 7 days we were there. On one occasion the bath towel had a large hole in it and they had run out of bath mats, although to be fair the towel was replaced. The electricity in the room went off at regular intervals. On arriving...

We were temporarily roomed in the Grand when there was a problem with our room in Hotel Savoy Edelweiss. We had room 307, the St. Valentine room and it was very nice. Lovely service and a bar with free nibbles in the afternoon. Lovely view from the balcony.

We loved our stay. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable - it even had a bath in the en-suite, which is good for tired limbs after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was pleasantly chaotic in a friendly Italian way. The evening meals were terrific, with lots of choice and massive quantities. then there was the...

The rooms are warm, clean and of decent size. We stayed in the St. Valentine room which included a balcony and jacuzzi bath (well worth requesting for after a long day skiing). Our booking included breakfast and dinner, which was worth the price. Both were buffet style and included fresh made food (omelettes, pasta, etc). On Fridays a special dinner...

So I had read the mixed reviews before we travelled (package with Neilson) but it was a last minute booking and it had the snow - always the most important thing for a skiing holiday. The hotel was very nice, the staff very helpful, and the food was good despite what you read. Afternoon tea apres ski - unfortunately they...

Fantastic skiing, great location, nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, great cocktail bar, disappointing evening meals. We would return to this resort and hotel but on a bed and breakfast package.

We stayed here for a weeks skiing jan 17. Ordinarily I'm cautious of buffet service hotel restaurants. Often there's little difference night after night. In the grand this was not my finding. Within our group was one who didn't eat red meat or pork who also agreed that there was a plentiful range of dishes. A hot fresh pasta station...

We stayed here for a week skiing and thought it was brilliant value for money! The hotel had a lovely cosy atmosphere as you walked in and so many different places to relax and chill in the evenings. We played snooker and cards while listening to the excellent singer and pianist there. They really went the extra mile to create...
