My husband and I stayed in this beautiful, well cared for palazzo for only one night. The view from our lovely room (#10) was fantastic! We never closed the curtains, as the view was so spectacular, one I will always remember. Roberto was a welcoming, knowledgeable and very gracious host - just terrific! We enjoyed an excellent breakfast in an... More

We stayed there one week ago and were very happy to be there. Upon arrival in our rental car we were immediately given a parking pass to put on the dashboard and parked a very easy walk up a side street. The owner put us and our luggage in the small elevator and met us on the second floor -... More

I cannot review this property more highly. We were only here for a night and wish we could have stayed much longer. The location in the historic town is fantastic, the rooms are exquisitely furnished with lots of old world charm and character, but what makes it really great is the service. The owner was there to greet us and... More

This is a very old Hotel that has been in current ownership for over 30 years. It is like travelling back in time with the large rooms, dark wood furniture and wonderful hosting. Whilst old it is very very comfortable, the room we had included a 4 poster bed, was extremely large and (for Italy) a reasonably soft comfortable bed.... More

We stayed 5 nights in October, 4 nights in Room 8 with the Grand View, and one night in room 12 with a view of the Duomo. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The rooms retain their original character and are a welcome change from big chain hotel uniformity. Rooms have heating, needed in October, and air conditioning. Breakfast... More

The view from the room across the valley was spectacular, the room itself excellent, breakfast showed Italian knowhow and the owner was helpful at every turn when needed. This place in the heart of Spoleto is on top of centuries of history, see the fresco in the reception room. Class no other country but Italy can offer and grazie signor... More

We recently spent five nights at the Palazzo Dragoni in late September and fell in love with both the hotel and Spoleto - now our most favourite place in Umbria. The location is magical in the old part of Spoleto, very narrow and winding streets with stunning views of the Duomo. We did get a little lost upon our arrival,... More

We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at Palazzo Dragoni in late September. The room was beautifully furnished and large with a separate sitting area. Our floor to ceiling windows overlooked the city and made for a wonderful way to wake up. Breakfast was good with fresh baked goods, meats, cheeses, etc. The woman also brought out a basket... More

I cannot fault the hotel, but if you love dogs you will be incredibly upset by the plight of the lovely dog that lives below this hotel. Confined to a small yard all day and in all weathers, I have seen the old women who live there hit the dog with a stick as it cowers. You do not want... More
