The location is great with wonderful sea and sandy beach! What is disappointing is how the resort is managed... The beach doesn’t get clean often and as a result kids are playing among the plastic brought by the sea; the guy at the bar is of rare impoliteness; the shower and bathroom look like those of an hostel of poor quality; sunbeds are not cleaned despite Covid. Prices are high and make it difficult to ignore the points above. Great potential if only in more competent hands
I have to laugh at the contrast between the online photos of this place and what we actually booked. We booked this place last minute and it looked pretty cool, but it was pretty crappy. The first ordeal was just finding the check-in desk...that alone was pretty confusing. They showed us to our room and when we entered, we felt like we just walked into someone’s hospital room. No pictures on the wall like in the pictures, no rugs like in the pictures, no nothing....very sterile. A plain king bed, a twin bed, a desk and a laptop-size tv sitting on the desk, a chair, and that’s it. We paid double for the “sea” view, but there is a partition at the end of the patio and you can’t see the sea unless you stand on the riser that the partition sits on. The patio looked down on a tent below our room where a party was going on with really loud music and people singing and screaming. It vibrated in our room, and when we asked how long that would be going on, they shrugged. The pool was green and gross. The worst part was the beach...it was filthy. Trash, bottle tops, glass, and old sink (?), junk. We asked to leave and be refunded and they went out of their way to be unhelpful and rude. Beware!…
I was expecting so much better but should have guessed that things were going downhill fast. You must cross a small plaza to the lobby and carrying luggage doesn’t work. Hotel staff seemed more interested in speaking with each other than checking people in. Room reeked of urine and just didn’t seem clean. It also looked it hadn’t been used in a long time. Including the hours it took to get the room a comfortable temperature. It’s a nasty hotel in disrepair that needs a complete rehab from the lobby, rooms and pool area. Oh. Check you minibars not only are they hot, they are dirty inside, just like your balcony that overlooks nothing...
This is a beautiful resort and beach very peaceful. We booked a two bedroom apartment which was very clean and spacious. All staff were very helpful and friendly, food was excellent, would love to come back.
When traveling by Molise seaside I always like to stop here; rooms are nice and soundproof; staff are friendly; they have a garage and a restaurant where you can eat at affordable price without moving the car.
We booked a 2BR 2BA apartment, and we knew it wouldn't have all the conveniences of the hotel. Still, we were disappointed. First, there was a leak in the ceiling dripping water into one of the bathrooms. No one was available to fix it until the following morning, so we stuck a pot under the drip. The washing machine was unplugged (and difficult to pull out of the cabinet to discover that), so that was another challenge. We had to rent towels, spending 35 euro for our 4 day stay for bath and pool towels (what 4* resort doesn't provide pool and beach towels?). No washcloths included, and the bath towels were smaller than hand towels we'd had in Italian hotels. The kitchen was missing so many items - no corkscrew (really, in Italy?), no bottle opener, no ice cube trays, no sponge or dish towels. The espresso pot was old and dirty verging on gross. No soap at all (for bathing, dishes, dishwasher or washer), no shampoo, shower gel or hand lotion. The shower in the master bedroom was the tiniest we'd ever seen, barely 2 1/2 feet square. The bathroom itself accommodated one person max, no way for a second person to even enter. No clue why they didn't squeeze a little more room out of the generous master bedroom to make the bathroom a bit more comfortable. The apartment was bare. Nothing on the walls, no suitcase racks, no hangers in the closets, no coffee table in front of the sofa, no end tables or lamps (reading in bed was tough), no extra pillows or extra blankets, no carpet or throw rugs anywhere, only 7 clothes pins for the drying rack (try drying a full load of wash with that). We purchased additional toilet paper, paper towels and more. Wifi wasn't promised in the apartment, but it was available in the hotel rooms. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't provided throughout the resort. It was supposed to be in all public areas, but really only worked in the lobby, not at the pool or the restaurant or beach. Given all that, you might wonder how we could even rate a 3. The beach is lovely, nice lounge chairs and umbrellas, lots of sand, waves. The pool was huge and very nice. The apartment was new, clean and modern. And the price was very reasonable.…
