Hotel very very old. Rooms are ugly, toilet cabin it’s claustrophobic. I was cold and took blanket from the cabinet and it’s was smelling o bad like it was never washed. I call reception and say it’s dirty and I would like to have a clean one, the bring me another one, which they put perfume on top to hide the not washed smell inside, while it was very dirty inside. The restaurant of hotel have a very poor menu. In the pool of hotel you have a serie of stupid rules like can’t take you floater, have to use swimming cup, from 6,30 pm you can’t use pool. In short, a part of beach in front of hotel, this is a 3 star hotel and not 4. Plus you have to pay to use beach.
My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Italy. We spent 9 days in Terracina and stayed at Torre del Sole. The hotel is located on a clean, private beach with a parasol and sun beds assigned to its guests. We enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend the hotel. We would like to thank Donatella at reception who took the time to answer all our questions, and the morning breakfast staff who were constantly replenishing the buffet items. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of hot and cold items, sweet and savory dishes as well as fresh fruit. Thank you Cinzia for making up our room every day, and for going out of your way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. During our stay in Terracina we had the opportunity to try different restaurants, and recommend ‘Ristorante Quadrifolio’ and ‘I Dodici’ (both within walking distance of the hotel), as well as ‘Hosteria Vicoletto’ and ‘Centosedici’ reachable by car. If visiting the Centro Storico, make sure to stop by ‘Antichi Sapori Pontini’ for one of the best ‘tagliere’ we had in Italy. If we come back to Terracina, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Ausilia and Francesco Giannone…
Visitors who are expecting 4 star hotel standards will be disappointed - *hotel inside looks very old, *rooms are small size *no gym *no music playing in the evening or activities available *extra blankets are not available with sheets *Iron is also not available Everything would be okey if this was a 3 star hotel. To sum up - I would not recommend staying here.
Hotel Torre del Sole is positioned as a four-star hotel. This is not quite true. Really this is a good three star hotel. The hotel location directly on the beach. There is a nice sandy beach. The rooms are very clean and clean linen. The staff is very polite, speaks Italian, English and Russian. But breakfast at the hotel is not very good. Few distribution points and waiters all the time bring food, which ends. Just one kind of cheese, ham and sausage. Few fruit. In the hotel there is slightly salted water in the shower. If you rest in the hotel for less than 7 days, then you have to pay for the sunbeds and umbrella 16 euros for each day. Therefore, decide what is important for you.
This hotel lies at the end of the beach promenade in Terracina, with a 45 minutes walk to the town centre, or we could reserve seats in the shuttle bus. Private beach with free sunbeds. You can hire bath towels at the reception. The room was cleaned every day, and had a terrace and fridge. Varied selection at breakfast, and the beach bar offers a choice of beverages and light dishes. The beach promenade is perfect for an evening walk While staying at the hotel, we had a couple of nice trips to Terracina, to see the old town and the Jupiter temple
