If you want to wait 55 minutes for scrabbled eggs and 30 minutes for orange juice this is the place for you. No wifi except for in the managers office. Lovely building but they charge you extra for every small thing. If you book a double room for one person expect to have all the towels but one removed while...

Everything rates an A+ here. Every dinner was great and varied, made by an excellent chef in a beautiful setting . The property is nicely laid out and includes a splendid pool. Our junior suite was splendid. The staff could not be more helpful, pleasant and gracious.

When you arrive at the hotel you are in awe of the setting, hotel and incredible views that go for miles! Then you are greeted by either Maria, Frederika or Silvia and your relaxing, pampered experience begins. The Roman era tower which is part of this beautiful villa like hotel is amazing. The rooms are very nice with generous baths....

We booked the whole hotel for our wedding and I cannot gush enough! Aside from the setting being spectacular, the rooms and hotel are designed and decorated beautifully, evoking true a true feeling of romance and history. Our guests were blown away by the whole thing. There are views of the mountains from one side and Todi from the other,...

The setting and ambiance was amazing and Silvia was always very accommodating. We had dinner twice at the restaurant and although it is a bit pricey the food was very good. The only fault that I can find is that there are no TV's in the rooms. We have been to other similar Tenutas and although they all had TV's....

We were welcomed so graciously at Tenuta! A chilled bottle of Prosecco and fresh fruit were a nice surprise when we entered our suite. The decor - so elegantly charming. We enjoyed lovely meals with the freshest of foods. We also enjoyed charming conversation with Maria. The staff was kind, helpful and so respectful - helping us with whatever we...

We recently stayed at the Tenuta for three nights for a nearby wedding, and it was great experience. We stayed in a small suite on the first floor, which was quiet and easy to access. The Tenuta is one of the few hotels with AC in the rooms, which was very helpful. Food was excellent, and the service could not...

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff. They took a pride in providing a truly personal service. Excellent value for money. The hotel is beautifully situated for touring around Umbria. The garden was well tended and a real asset to the property.

My wife and I stayed at Tenuta di Canonica for two nights. We found the place online and were intrigued by the amazing pictures on their homepage. It turned out that this hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The Tenuta is located in the mountains surrounding the Tiber valley in Umbria, facing the medieval town of Todi. The building dates...
