We sadly had only one booked night in the 2 bedroom suite, for ourselves and 2 daughters. From the moment we stepped through the main front door, we loved the charm of the hotel, with so many lovely original features. The decor was beautiful. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and we loved every minute of our brief stay....

Fortunate to have had two nights in this lovely place. Rooms spacious, views amazing, staff very helpful. Breakfast is totally adequate and takes place around common tables. Honor bar (wines, beer, cola and water). Do not miss having a cocktail on the rooftop terrace. It helps to know that the hotel is on the third floor of the building so...

I am still pinching myself because I can't believe our good fortune at having 2 nights at this jewel of a hotel in Todi. It's located just off Palazzo del Popolo, a very convenient location. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfy. The rooftop terrace is a treasure. Beautiful view of Todi and the countryside below. Unpresidented heat here now...

After three days in Florence with millions of other tourists, Todi and San Lorenzo Tre were a welcome and perfect respite. The B+B is country elegant. Todi is cosmopolitan and artsy. Beautiful views from the rooftop patio, and delightful, family-style breakfasts. Our room had stunning views over the Umbrian countryside. Great restaurants and walks nearby. Siena is just an hour's...

Four us us were very comfortable in a two-bedroom suite (shared bath). Location was fantastic! Gorgeous, historic mansion. Perfection was marred only by a few very minor gripes: our room's windows were tiny and high, so no view: on the other hand, the heat stayed outside and for views we had the glorious rooftop terrace! The bathroom was a bit...

We booked this hotel for myself, my wife and a friend as we had a close family wedding to attend. We stayed there for a week and it could not have been a more relaxed stay... The hotel has been maintained as a family house and the rooms are kept as they were in the late-19th Century but despite the...

We stayed in a lovely room, great views, great breakfasts and the rooftop terrace was perfect for a bottle of rosso. The staff were so wonderful, when we went up to the roof with a bottle of wine, they came up with an antipasto platter for us to nibble on.... extremely thoughtful and civilised. Once we found the place everything...

Residenza d'Epoca San Lorenzo Tre is a family home, with photos and pictures and lovely antiques and gracious rooms. Ours had a sweeping view of the surrounding countryside, a very comfortable bed, a nice bath, and excellent cross-ventilation, which served us well in an Umbrian heatwave. The manager, Massamiliano, was generous, helpful, and went out of his way to make...

We stayed 3 nights in this "hotel" last week in Todi. We agree that it is a very nice place that is tastefully decorated and the breakfast is well done each morning. The internet is fast and free! There are a few issues that most reviewers seem to leave out. One, this apartment is on the 3rd floor (steep steps...

I loved everything about my stay here. the rooms were lovely, as was the location - right off of the main piazza. My room had an incredible view of countryside and part of town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The staff was very helpful,

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Residenza San Lorenzo Tre is primely situated just a few steps away from the Todi Cathedral. It occupies the second floor of a historical 17th century building without an elevator. La Residenza had been the home of the Gagliardi-Pellegrini families for five generations before the owner Marzia Morena opened its doors as a hotel to guests. The Residenza San Lorenzo Tre remains the atmosphere of the late 19th century, with every corner of the house, each piece of furniture, vintage framed picture telling the story of the Gagliardi-Pellegrini family. The central yet tranquil location with the amazing view from the Residenza San Lorenzo Tre makes it an ideal destination for those wishing to spend a relaxing holiday in the heart of the old city of Todi. A stay at the San Lorenzo Tre would be a memorable journey through time for those who seek the bygone era of Italian elegance. ... more   less
