This is a really nice, peaceful place and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights and decided to have dinner in-house based on the reviews in Tripadvisor. We felt a bit guilty as we were the only guests at the end of a long and busy season for the owners. The accommodation was good...we had...

Agriturismo Casale dei Frontini was the ideal base for our time in the heart of Umbria. While convenient to Todi, Deruta, Perugia, Spoleto, and even Terni and Orvieto, it offered many of its own charms to lure us to spend time right there on the grounds, which feature magnificent territorial views and a blissfully quiet setting (except when the ducks...

We spent seven nights here touring the area. This is a convenient location and we visited Assis, Orvieto, Spolletto and the smaller hill towns which are all within easy driving distance. Todi is a fifteen minute drive away. We stayed in a double room and although spotlessly clean and well furnished we wished we had booked an apartment as our...

We spent two relaxing days here...the weather wasn't the best it could be, and it was too early in the season for us to use the pool. Instead of swimming we played a game of bocce -- Corrado, one of the owners of the property, asked if he could join us for a few throws. What a nice person he...

Casale dei Frontoni is sent among iconic rolling hills, and the views open up onto Todi, making this a magical place. The beautiful grounds are well-cared for (plenty of good smells and even a plum tree), as are the rooms and apartments. We didn't realize breakfast was included, so were happy with the coffee, juice, and breads/jams set out in...

We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with the overall location and its perch in the rolling countryside. It is a great base for walks and for drives to nearby villages -as well as Todi, Orvieto, Assisi etc. it is a real farm with Chianna cattle. We were warmly welcomed by Michele and his father. The first...

If you want to stay in a beautiful, well located and extremely friendly, entertaining and hospitable 'home', then this is the place for you. The locally sourced food is fantastic and the views are stunning. We stayed for five days and enjoyed every minute of it. Book early !

Very nice house in fantastic surroundings with beautiful Umbrian rolling hills. Excellent dinner with many ingredients from their own farm. Great house and friendly hosts! Unfortunately the weather didn't give us the chance to try the pool with the stunning views, but maybe next time.

“Casale di Frontini in Frontignano is the fulfillment of everyone’s dream of vacationing in the hills of Umbria. Surrounded by a vast unchanging landscape of rolling hills and verdant farmland as far as the eye can see -- and with a striking view of the distant hilltop town of Todi—the Casale di Frontini gives the visitor a sense of history...

We had the pleasure of staying here the end of September. The location is fantastic for exploring the hilltop towns of Umbria. The property itself is stunning - vistas of rolling hills, vineyards and olive trees. Our rooms were well appointed and spotless. But what makes this property special is the warmth and hospitality of the family. Sylvana prepares the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our guests tell us that they feel as if they have walked into a fairy tale, a magical place where time stops and the medieval world and the twenty-first century unite in quiet and harmony. This is true. It is peaceful here except for the sounds of ducks and cows and hens. The rabbits, the horse, and barn cats disturb no one, and our big-hearted little dogs 'Tequila' and 'Small' seldom bark, although they will welcome you with gratitude. Our family, my wife and two sons, renovated these lovely buildings with the same taste and devotion with which they were originally built three hundred years ago. ... more   less
