We were treated very well by the staff of the hotel. Though the speaking of English is not common practice. But with a little effort we managed 😉. The room was well-furnished and tidy. From our balcony we had a nice view on the swimming pool and the beach. The beach was very near, it took only a few minutes to get there. We had our own spot on the beach during our visit. So generally I would recommend the Pellegrino Palace Hotel to anyone who wants to visit Vieste. We had a B&B-arrangement; we were often for a walk in and around Vieste or in the Foresta Umbra. We visited the Trimiti Isles and the towns of Alberobello and Polignano too.

Overall the hotel is Great, not far from the beach, walking distance from the center. But if that dude working at the pool could had turn off his lousy music, we could had enjoyed the pool, plus if he wants to sing, take away his microphone, we don't care about him singing, we just want our peace and quiet.

Dear guest, we apologize for the swimming pool problem, but we would like to point out that the swimming pool and the related services do not belong to us, but to the Pellegrino village. Best regards Hotel management

Spent a fabulous, relaxing week on a full-board basis at this very well run family hotel. The staff, food, facilities and spacious sea-view room were all spot-on. Only regret is that it closes mid-September. Highly recommended - we'll be back! Debra & Francesco

Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings, near the beach, very nice room, poor wifi (wifi was good at the reception), very helpful staff, very good and clean hotel rooms. When leaving the room turns off electricity (for someone it may be a disadvantage).

We were staying with a group of 40+ people for a couple of nights. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean, with fabulous view of the sea. The food was delicious and the service was great - the staff members were friendly and really helpful and caring. We were all very pleased with our stay there. Overall a well deserved high rating - a very recommendable place!

This large modern purpose built hotel and cottages on the long beachfront, before old Vieste on the cliff, were clearly built, as evidenced by most reviews, for the domestic Italian holidaymakers, and would probably have been too noisy and busy for us in the season. However, staying in early October with only a small handful of guests meant that it was fine. We were a little surprised when the receptionist had to “check” that we could stay a 2nd night when there was evidence of less than 10 guests in the entire complex! If full, we think the soundproofing would have been poor but that was not a problem for us. Rooms are en suite, with a balcony, A/C, large and adequately if rather sparsely equipped and furnished. Staff were friendly and had some English. The included breakfasts were continental with good choice and very good coffee. We were told that dinner could be provided and were shown a menu, but there was no sign of other guests eating – or anywhere else - in the evenings, and we ate out in the evenings. The grounds were a little neglected but spacious, and with a view to the mountains at the back and the sea at the front (over the road). There was a large swimming pool in front of the hotel and which we had to ourselves every evening.
