At $400 per night for a "deluxe" room (2 queens) I expected a whole lot more. The room we had on the first night (we stayed for 3 nights) was very poor: - The room door would not stay shut unless you locked it - The bathroom door scrapped on the floor unless you lifted it as you opened it...

We went a few times although staying in Terlingua. We loved the outdoor dining and the beautiful property. A pretty ride as well. Fair price for great food and friendly staff. I recommend it for any service they offer. An oasis, in the desert.

The theme of the hotel is great very western and old western theme. The rooms are clean and very well kept, the staff is very friendly, the restaurant and buffet for breakfast very good. Personally we cannot think of anything bad about the hotel.

I really expected so much more to this place. While I did not see any room but my own while there, I can honestly say, this place needs major renovations. With taxes, our room fee came to $247.47 for a king room/1 night. I do not feel we got our money's worth. The room furnishings were worn looking. The room...

We go to Big Bend every year, but this was a solo trip. Had driven through the resort previously and opted to stay at Maverick Ranch RV this time, and enjoy the golf. The park was well cared for, sites not too close together, though only half the park has cable (I didn't miss it). Golf was fantastic, an amazing...

We recently visited Big Bend National Park and chose Maverick RV Park to camp in. It was clean, very nice clubhouse facilities. The staff was friendly and available. We look forward to visiting again.

Lajitas is just outside.Big Bend national park on the Western side. This is probably the best RV park I have ever stayed at. It is a complete service resort featuring golf and many outside and area activities. It features a wonderful clubhouse facility and pool. It is very clean and reasonably priced.

We have been looking forward to this two night bucket list stay at Lajitas Golf Resort since last August. Leaving Alpine Wednesday morning, we drove to Marathon then headed south on 385 to BBNP, drove up to Chisos Basin Lodge for lunch and then made our way west through the park, to Study Butte, Terlingua and finally Lajitas. We made...

The menu is uninspired and largely bland. There is no food service after 2pm except the restaurant. Any other food service is 20 miles away. By the time I got back to Lajitas from Big Bend or Big Bend ranch each day the restaurant was the only choice. Altogether it is an adequate hotel but not much of a resort.
