We stayed in the Boardwalk condos and found it to be very clean. Yes, the washer/dryer is all in one and ours was not working during our stay. We did notify maintenance. He was unable to repair instantly. We were able to wash but could not wash. We noticed front desk and they were able to dry the clothes for me.

BBNP is about 20miles/32kms East of Lajitas; 17 miles/27kms East on TX170 to Study Butte/TX118; turn right, go 3 miles/5kms to West entrance station. Depending upon time of year, nothing will be available for overnighting in BBNP and you’ll be a day-tripper. The closest accommodation is in Terlingua-Study Butte; next closest is Lajitas; after that, there is the very excellent/very remote (you have to go North on TX118 21kms/19miles) Longhorn Ranch Motel (432.371.2133) with superb rooms, RV Park and refreshingly brisk pool, and the exquisite TiVo’s Restaurant (definitely call ahead: 432.372.2133). Further still, I’ve stayed at the World’s most unique “La Loma Del Chivo” hostel in Marathon, the Pecan Grove RV Park in Alpine and the Paisano Pass picnic/safety rest area (US67/90).
